media and Research Associate (Braamfontein)

We are looking for an individual to take up the position of Digital and Research Associate, based in Braamfontein,
within a strategy agency, providing specialised services in strategic communication, brand management, events &
activations, production and media services. The Agency is a fast paced, growing company and the workload is
demanding.

The Digital and Research Associate will work alongside the Digital and IQ Manager and team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial:
Management of expenses within budget
Business Processes:
Conceptualization (new ideas/directions for brainstorming sessions)
Assist in designing research methods such as interviews and questionnaires.
Acting as an important link between the agency and its clients. Demonstrating an understanding of
client's goals and project requirements
Accurate Presentation Building and Presenting thereof
Attending Client Statuses, General Meetings, and Creative Sessions.
Research and planning: Market, Industry, Digital and Media Consumption Research, consumer
psychology and behaviour, brand-sales history, competitive sales and customer information,
consumer demographics, and much more. Using this information to determine how the agency can
leverage a brands strengths in a strategic and creative approach.
Carry out qualitative, quantitative and desk research to develop internal Insights library and obtain
strategic insights.
Work alongside the brand management team to develop actionable communication strategies.
Manage project logistics.
Performing statistical analysis and assist in authoring reports containing actionable
recommendations.
Develop solutions to meet clients digital and Social Media objectives based on consumer insight and
data.
Community management.
Run reports on Telmar, TGI and other data tools.
Customer Service:
Accurate & timeous feedback and support to Stakeholders
Utilizing network opportunities resulting in new Business and Relationship building
Learning & Growth:

Own & team performance: Actively monitoring and meeting targets as set out in the performance
contract

Minimum Requirements
Matric;
Communication management, marketing, brand management or other related discipline studies
Related work experience
Must be highly organized and possess the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and maintain
focus and professionalism under stress.
Strong verbal and written skills that will be used to present information and recommendations to
management, clients, and communicate study information to all staff / offices.
True command of the MS Office suite.
