Application

1. TS-link should be used on the windows xp. Copy the TS-link on the CD and
paste to the computer hard disk, dblclick the TS-link to open it.
2. Download:
1) Connect Total Station and PC with data cable.
2) Run the software called TS-Link.
3) Power the instrument and set 0 position. Press ESC to enter MEM
interface.
4) Select 1.JOB to enter the job selecting interface as Fig.1. (The
document with a * forward is to be downloaded.
5) Select the right document to enter JOB interface as Fig.2 by pressing
ENT.

6) Click Download as Fig.3 to set parameters including Port and Baud
rate as Fig.4. (Recommendation: Baud rate: 9600)
7) Click OK
Note: Be sure that the parameters setting of software and instrument are
uniform. Set parameters by entering Instr.Config (according to Manual)

8) Select 2.Comms output. Press ENT to confirm the right form and
press STOP to interrupt transferring. It will return to the previous menu while
finished. (According to Manual.)
3. Upload:
1) Repeat 1) 2) and 3) steps above-mentioned in Download.
2) Select 2. Known data to enter the interface as Fig.5.

3) Input the information such as PT, ID, N, E and Z.
4) Click Upload as Fig.6 and set parameters including Port and Baud
rate as Fig.4. (Recommendation: Baud rate: 9600)
5) Click OK
Note: Be sure that the parameters setting of software and instrument are

6) Select 2.Comms output. Press STOP to interrupt transferring. It will

4. Save as
The data download by the TS-link can be saved as 2 formats: *.BDT and
*.TXT as FIG.7 and FIG.8. Click the save as as FIG.7 then you can select the
format in the save as interface as FIG.8.

5. Export
The data download by the TS-link can be saved as 4 formats: *.PTS, *.TXT,
*.DXF and format defined by user. The *.PTS, *.TXT, *.DXF are standard. The
customers can define the export format by define export format in tools as
FIG.9 and FIG.10

Click the Export as FIG.11 then you can select the format in the export
interface as FIG.12.

Note: Used the export function only for coordinate data.
