Originally, she only required Boonlert to redecorate

the two wooden old houses she bought
THE SITE
Located at Nakorn Chaisri, Nakorn Prathom
Some 60km away from the west of Bangkok
Surrounded with paddy fields
THE TRANSFORMATION

Originally, two wooden houses in a piece of land

Main building was demolished, service block was retained

Some old materials are donated to nearby temple

Total floor area is 240sq.m

The house also name as Pajis House

BUILDING AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
Design according to the climate and context

Building is oriented to benefit from Southwest and

Northeast breeze

To suit the climate, wide eaves and raised floor are being
implemented

Trees surround act as shading devices for external wall

Wide openings and less walls allow cross ventilation.

Result in traditional form, but it also has a sense of
modernity
