Monitoring and following up all existing projects, such as cathodic protection (CP), chemical
inhibitor and coating applications during monitoring companies and their contractors
Work as a focal point to set up the basic and detailed design as well as the material selection for
different facilities used in oil and gas field with focus on those related to corrosion control
engineering
Corrosion Prevention/Protection plans: Evaluation of Corrosion inhibitors (Static, NACE
Rotating Cage, NACE Bubble Tests and foaming/emulsion test). Injection of Corrosion Inhibitors
at all production wellheads at an appropriate dosage. Maintaining the desired concentration of
Corrosion Inhibitor in pipelines by residual inhibitor analyses.
Corrosion Monitoring Plan: Techniques utilized include ER probes, LPR probes, corrosion
coupons, iron count method, thickness monitoring survey. Reporting the summary of all the data
in a comprehensive Corrosion Performance Report.
Cathodic Protection Systems: PSP surveys of flowlines, tanks bottoms, underground vessels and
wellhead casings (instant-off potential surveys). DCVG Surveys and CIP surveys for determining
location of coating damage.
