RE: APPLICATION FOR THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

DATE: April 17, 2017

Dear colleagues,

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!

In reference to the LIYAB Awards 2017, AIESEC in Davao humbly submits its
application for the Sustainability Award. As explained, this Award goes to the entity that has
proven to run a sutainable organization while complying with legal and financial regulations
and AIESEC Davao is exactly that entity. Below are the reasons why:

1.) Over-All Score in Organizational Health Matrix in the HR Legal and Finance Area
a. 17 (See Table 1)
TABLE 1

2.) Over-All Score in Programme Health Matrix

a. 4 (See Table 2)
TABLE 2

** We placed our profitability for iGV at number 4 although our iGV Partners
dont pay us any TN Fee at all because the truth is, a big chunk or majority of our
Over-all LC Financial revenues is still derived from our iGV operations through
sponsorship of our projects, fund raising, and other servicing partners. It would
be untrue and unreal to put it at zero when in fact the LC financially survives
because of its iGV operations and projects.
Additional Requirements asked by Mr. Ram Martinez:

1.) We got all the 9 hearts.

2.) Innovation - The LC has executed numerous steps and innovations to further sustain
and develop the LC such as:
The local committee has created a financial database for the purpose of maintaining and
processing the financial statements of the entity. This enables the entity to have easy
access to, and quick understanding of the financial transactions of the committee.
The database processes information in such a way that by writing down the journal
entry, the user is able to have a preview of the income statement and balance sheet
perpetually throughout the term.
The entity has been strictly implementing rules for the payment of entity and Exchange
fees to assure informed and timely payments to the membership committee.
Such rules include checking the invoice against EXPA, and paying the fees 1 week before
the due date.
The entity has retained an external lawyer to thoroughly check that all legal documents
are correct and based on the law.
The memorandum of agreements drafted by the proper departments are passed through
the lawyer for checking before being notarized and a copy being passed to the finance
department to be properly filed.
The entity has started plans and preparations to apply as a legal entity to the Securities
and Exchange Commission to further progress of the local committee through making
transactions with partner companies easier.

God Bless!
