1. Consider the following sequences:

2. Determine the even and odd part of the sequences defined in problem 1.
3. Compute the energy of the length N sequence x(n) = sin(2kn/N ),0

4. Determine the fundamental period of the following sequences x1 (n) =
exp(j0.2n), x2 (n) = sin(0.8n + 0.8) and x3 (n) = 3sin(1.3n)

5. Let y1 (n) = x(n) h(n) and y1 (n) = x(n N1 ) h(n N2 ). Express y2 in
terms of y1 (n).
6. Let y(n) be the sequence obtained by a linear convolution of two causal
finite length sequences h(n) and x(n). Determine y(n) if
