NALCO 72100,
ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE 22130
DR/2010 Procedure

AP-60E-1/2010
SPECIFICATIONS
Method: Spectrophotometric (DR/2010)
Range: 100 to 6000 50 ppb as NALCO
72100 or 22130
Testing Time: 15 minutes

DESCRIPTION
An accurate, simple method of colourimetric
analysis, the portable DR/2010 spectrophotometer
is utilised to quickly analyse NALCO 72100 or
22130 concentration for monitoring proper applica-
tion levels. The test is based on iron reduction
Nalco DR/2010 Spectrophotometer
chemistry and is simple to perform. The NALCO
72100 or 22130 in the sample reduces ferric iron to
ferrous iron in direct proportion to the NALCO
72100 or 22130 concentration. This solution then Description Part No.

ELIMIN-OX DR/2010 PROCEDURE
Special Notes: Analyse sample as soon as it is collected. The temperature of the sample should be 22-28 C (72-82 F). Do
not use a copper-based sample cooler as copper interferes with this reaction. If the temperature of the sample is not in the
proper range, correct the result as follows:
EOx [9 X (C*1.8 - 45)] = EOx TC OR EOx [9 X (F - 77)] = EOx TC
