builtinfeatureoftheP6ActivityWindowlikeotherschedulingproductssuchasAsta
Powerproject.ThismaybeachievedinP6intwoways:
InP6Version8usingtheTimescaledLogicfunctionwhichwasenhancedandrenamed
VisualizerinVersion8.2,or
InallVersionsofP6intheActivityWindowusingFittersandbarformatting.Itisnot
possibletocolorSummaryActivitiessuchasWBScreatedbybandingintheGroupand
SortformwiththismethodbutformattingmaybeagainstWBSandLOEactivities.

Process
Thefollowingstepsshouldbefollowed:
SelecttheActivityCodeyouwishtouseandassignacolor.Youmayusethecolorsinthe
ActivityCodeform,buttheseareonlyusedfortheTimescaledLogicbutmayusedinthe
decisionmakingprocessandforconformity.
CreateafilterforeachActivityCode/color,
CreateaLayoutfortheformatting,
CreateaBarintheBarsfromforeachActivityCode,
Assignthecodesagainsttheactivities.

Select the Activity Code you wish to use and assign a color
AGlobalCodewouldprobablybebestsoitmaybeusedwithanyproject.
