Charge Description: On or about August 1, 2017, in the County of Dakota, Minnesota, AHMED
MOHAMED JAMA, did threaten, directly or indirectly, to commit any crime of violence with purpose to
terrorize another or to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, vehicle or facility of public
transportation or otherwise to cause serious public inconvenience, or in a reckless disregard of the risk of
causingsuchterrororinconvenience.

 STATEMENTOFPROBABLECAUSE

OnoraboutAugust2,2017,anAppleValleypoliceofficerrespondedtothe12000blockof

GlenbrookWay,AppleValley,DakotaCounty,Minnesota,onareportofapastactiondomesticassault.
Uponarrival,theofficerspokewithN.O.,whoreportedthatshehadgottenintoanargumenttheevening
beforewithherhusband,AhmedMohamedJama(DOB:06/06/1998)(Defendant).
OnAugust1,2017,atapproximately11:00p.m.,Defendantreturnedhomeandgotintoan
argumentwithN.O.Duringtheargument,DefendantthreatenedN.O.,sayingthathewouldshootherinthe
headandgetawaywithit.N.O.reportedbeingafraidofDefendantandnotfeelingsafe.Defendanthad

neverthreatenedherlikethatbefore. Defendantisemployedasalicensedpeaceofficerandhisduty
weaponwasintheresidenceatthetimehemadethethreat.
OfficersspokewithDefendant,whoagreedtogotothepolicedepartmenttogiveastatement.
Defendantadmittedthattheyhadargued,butclaimedthatitwasmoreofadiscussion. Defendantdenied
makingthethreat.
