2. DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF ELECTRIC POWER TRAIN:

Softwares Used: Catia V5, ProE Creo elements, Ansys, Solid Works, MATLAB.

The project is aimed to Design, Simulate, Calibrate and Fabricate the Electric
Power Train.
Its emphasized on various set strategies of propulsion and idea of developing an
electric car by employing the concepts of the components suitably engaged.
Better understanding of 3D model design of the powertrain and advance approach
for Transmission Gear Reduction ratios in accordance with motor and torque
convertor. The calculated gear ratios and MATLAB simulation strategies evolved
in discovering the new standards in ELECTRIC VEHICLE.
Deployment of Featured Electrical Equipment, Lithium Ion battery 85KWH,
Switched Reluctance Motor, All Wheel Drive Mechanism, Transmission Control
Module, InWheel Electric motor, Assignment of turbochargers for less power
intake, Superchargers for Charging the battery.
Achievement of the project: The superchargers employed gave tendency of
charging the vehicle back in 8-10mins and drive for 400 miles. Hence this model
has the advantage of eradicating fuel consumption and Ecofriendly, providing
high range to the Electric Vehicle than conventional vehicles available today in
the market.

3. SUSPENSION AND STEERING SYSTEM IN AUTOMOBILES:

The project is aimed to study the suspension and the steering system of
HYUNDAI ELANTRA with entity of resolving technical automobile problems,
cause and prevention.
Assembly and Dismantling of Steering and Suspension with set design strategies
of Chassis System using CAD, FEA Tools CATIA parametrics.
Resolving problems associated with Braking System, Refrigeration and Air
conditioning, Engine Assembly and Dismantling, Transmission System of
Vehicle, Power Steering Systems.
Mac Pherson Strut suspension in front and Torsion Beam Axle suspension at
Rear. Gas type Shock Absorbers both in Front and Rear. Calculation of
Tightening Torques for Front and Rear suspension.
