Led Design, Build and Implementation of Network for Data Centres, Contact Centres, Campuses and Payments Networks across
APAC region. Drove Network Re-Engineering, Upgrade and Refresh across region.

Singapore Data Centre Consolidation & New Campus Build Project:

o The project scope was to build two new campuses Maple Tree Business City (MBC) and Marina Bay Financial Centres
(MBFC) and a Data centre in Singapore and migrate Technology infrastructure from existing Data-centres and migrate
business partners from old offices without any impact
o Led the Network Design, implementation & migration scope of this multi-year/multimillion$ project end-to-end.
o The scope of the Design includes 2xData Centres, 3xCampus Network, WAN/MAN and Migration Strategy
o It required me working from Singapore for multiple weeks to lead the implementation and migration strategy.

Global MPLS WAN Project:


o Worked as part of Core Team in Phoenix, USA responsible for Architecture, Design and Implementation of managed
MPLS WAN across Amex.
o Validated design through weeks of Proof of Concept physically in Cisco Lab in Raleigh, USA.
o It was multi-year project to migrate 1000s of Amex and partners site network to MPLS WAN provided by VzB /AT&T
and their partners.
o I was responsible for APAC region to take care all the region-specific design aspects, regulation and other migration
complexities.
o I seamlessly led all the key complexities related to Contact Centres, Payment network and Telecom Regulations in
the region.

Campus/Data Center/Contact Centre Networks Projects in India

o Led the Design, Test (POC), Implementation and Migration for Data Center Network and Campus Network and other
Technology Infrastructure for NCR Building Contact Center (5000+ Seats) and Cyber Building-8 (Contact Center
2000+ Seats) for 24x7 x365 World Service/GCA in Year 2007-08 in Gurgaon, India.
o The solution included multiple complex components like TDM to IP Voice solution migration, VRF in Campus Network,
OSPF/BGP Redesign, Global BGP Re-Architecture and eliminating Cisco IGX based ATM/Frame-Relay network.
o I validated all design concepts through weeks of Proof of Concept in Cisco Lab in Bangalore.
o Built and led the migration strategy for Data Centre and Businesses from multiple centres to this new centre.
o In Year 2013, led the upgrade/refresh of these 24x7 operational Campuses with zero impact.

Led Technology Infrastructure Design, Built for projects China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia
o Two new offices built in China (Hangzhou and Shanghai)
o Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia Expansion of existing offices
o Built strong exposure by physically working from these counties.

Building-5, Cyber City New Campus Setup/Expansion in Gurgaon


o Led the network designing and implementation for Building-5 in Cyber City, Gurgaon to setup a campus of approx 3500
workstations. The network design comprises of 3-Tier Campus LAN Architecture, 500 Meg Metro Ethernet triangles
connecting to other two Campuses in Gurgaon and 300 Meg Type -2 GWAN. The design was aligned with Network
Architecture and Engineering and accordingly network gear was procured after getting funding approval for approx US$
3M from network tower leads. Network infrastructure was built well ahead of schedule to exceed business partners
expectation. The early funding approval and ordering also enabled AXP to negotiate additional 1.5% discount from Cisco

Taiwan Datacentre Consolidation


o Led Taiwan Datacentre consolidation initiative end-to-end, prepared the business case, aligned with respective leaders;
got funding approval and complete the implementation. This initiative enabled the elimination of serviceability
challenges and single point of failures, which were due to space constraint and cabling/equipment mess. This project
involved leading teams from HP/AT&T/IBM/Vzb and close coordination with GRE/Facilities and business partners

Internet POP Setup in India & Singapore


o Built CBA and Business case for setting up Internet Gateways and secured funding, information security and
regulatory approvals
o Built Design and Implemented Internet POP in India and Singapore
o It enabled achieving major cost efficiency and customer experience

Led Global/Regional Initiatives:


o Led the alignment on strategy, funding approval and deployment of WLAN across all the sites in region for flexibility and
TP/Tandberg for video collaboration
o Ensured GWAN capacity planning and bandwidth upgrade to accommodate business growth and various technology
initiatives in the region
o Led the deployment of Network Attached Storage (NAS) at Gurgaon, Singapore, Hong Kong and migrated File Servers
data from all sites to the NAS. This was project was executed in collaboration with the global team.
HP/AT&T Vendor Governance (Network Availability, Project Delivery & Change Management)
o Reviewed network change scripts for all the critical changes in the region to ensure no impact due to changes to achieve
high availability
o Provide consultancy and guidance to HP/AT&T teams to resolve operational issues, to do root cause analysis and
eliminate any single point of failure
Led Technology strategy to migrate business partners from multiple offices in Delhi/Gurgaon to the newly built NCR Campus
Project Managed Infrastructure Consolidation project for India domestic business
Led the network separation for American Express Bank (AEB) as part of its sale to Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) which was
very critical and time-bound initiative
