Dear Real School,

Thank you for the opportunity to apply. I have been looking for months for a job and it seems like I've
finally found one that I'd be great and that I'd love doing. If you hire me I'm certain not to let you
down.

I was born into a family of musicians. My grandfather, an Italian immigrant, played the accordion his
entire life, and my father is a professional trombonist, as well as head of the music department at
Phillips Academy. I began learning the piano before I could talk. Now, I'm currently a student at
Berklee College Of Music where I'm about to enter my third year. I studied hard before entering and
was able to test out of most of my first year courses, so this third year will be my last. I love all styles
of music, but especially the strange ones: progressive rock, avant garde, fusion, modern classical, etc.

My grandfather was a public school principal and teacher, and my father is a music teacher. It's only
natural that I'd like to continue the legacy! I know I'd be young at only 20, but maybe students need a
younger teacher who is easy to relate to. Learning an instrument is a hard commitment, so I believe
having a teacher closer to the students age may allow for a stronger connection and more support. I
have a great eye for helping students with learning disorders as someone who suffered from them too.

I aspire one day to be a college music professor, and I think that teaching at the Real School would be
an amazing opportunity for me, but more importantly I really just want to share my musical
knowledge with others!

Sincerely yours,

Marcello Cireli
