1. Login DAG & General Knowledge of DAG Command

This is a document for some customers who need more details of Dinstar s products with
command lines. To make sure the system runs successfully, we suggest customers setting DAG
by GUI. In this manual, some topics such as how to check the IP, signaling and call conversation
are covered.
Run system tool Telnet to login DAG. The default username and password is "admin".

C:\Users\Administrator >telnet 172.16.101.142

Input "?" to show the all commands and its information.

Abbreviation is supported in DAG command. For example you can input "en" substitute for
"enable", input "sh" substitute for "show", input "cl" substitute for "clock",

2. Commands in "ROS#" Mode

There is only a litter commans in "ROS>" mode. If you need more commands you must enter
the "ROS#" mode. Input "enable" to enter "ROS#" mode if you have in the "ROS>" mode.

5. How to get debug log on telnet

5.1 Set PUTTY software .

1) Open Putty , if you do not have a putty , please down here

2) Type the IP of the gateway (ATA , GSM VoIP gateway) . Select Telnet

3) Click Logging
4) Select All Session Output
5) Click Browse to select a directory to save the Logging file
6) Click Open

7. How to modify IP via COM port

7.1. Connect COM port of your desktop computer with the CONSOLE port of the DWG.

7.2 Make sure COM port connect well , you can check in the Windows Computer Management
7.3 Set COM port access tools , here use PUTTY as a example ,
You can download PUTTY here

COM port number must keep the same with the number you see in step 2 , here is <COM 2 >,
Rate bit is <115200 > , Flow control set to <None>
After setting the software , you can click <open> to enter the Command shell of DWG.

8 How to reset to default setting via COM port

Rate bit is <115200 > , Flow control set to <None>
After setting the software , you can click <open> to enter the Command shell of DWG.
