CHARACTERISTICS
Composition: alkyl sulphate
Appearance: straw-colored clear liquid

PROPERTIES
By the use of IDROPOL MRC in mercerization and caustic soda treatments (scouring), the soda
surface tension is strongly reduced and we will obtain a very quick and regular penetration in
cellulosic fibers with a consequent better hydrophility levelness.
IDROPOL MRC is free of phenols and cresols and doesnt produce foam, so that we do not need
defoamers addition.

USING SUGGESTIONS
IDROPOL MRC properly works with caustic soda concentration of 18-30B.
Suggested amount:
Mercerization on raw material IDROPOL MRC 4-6 ml/l
Mercerization on already scoured material IDROPOL MRC 1-3 ml/l

In case of caustic soda scouring by Cold Pad Batch method, we suggest to increase its use till
10 ml/l, especially on material not perfectly hydrophilics.
