Incidentally short-circuit these 2 wires will not damage the machine. The machine will protect
from functioning if the wires are constantly short-circuited.

The door status terminals on HC-500 monitor have no polarity
The magnetic switch and wires are not included in the package

Wire a power line loop for the electric lock

The lock release terminals on HC-500 monitor provide dry contact relay bridge
The dry contact relay on monitor can sustain maximum of 24VDC/1A power current
The lock release terminals have no polarity
The electric lock, power for the lock, and wires are not included in the package

CAUTION : Over loaded power current of the lock can cause damage to the machine

 TEST AFTER INSTALLATION

1. Plug the adaptor power

2. Test the monitor by the following steps Brightness tuner
Sharpness tuner
Bell volume tuner
a. Press the call button from door camera Speak-out button (1 way Speakerphone volume tuner
speaking)
Speakerphone button (hands-free
b. Check and adjust bell volume 2 way conversation)

c. Check and adjust picture quality
d. Check and adjust speakerphone volume
3. Test the door camera by the following steps
a. Press the call button from door camera
b. Press-on the monitors speak-out button to talk
c. Press the monitors speakerphone button once
for hands-free speaking Call Button

d. Adjust the door cameras speakerphone volume

from the back of door camera ( under a rubber Slide volume

cover ) selector

4. Read the instruction panel on monitor ( under a plastic

 OPERATION

Visitor calls from door camera

1.One way audio & video monitoring the visitor (if no

answer from indoor monitor, automatic cut off in 30
seconds)
2.Press-on the speak-out button can speak out to the
visitor
3.Press lock release button can open the door (if
electric lock is installed)
4.Door status light off when door opened (if magnetic
switch is installed)
5.Automatic disconnect in 90 seconds.

conversation

Observation function from monitor

the door camera

2. Press-on the speakerphone button for 2

seconds can turn off the machine
