Text: The textbook we will use to support the course outcomes is the Prentice Hall Chemistry text. The
replacement cost for this book is $120 in the event that your copy is not returned in its original condition.

Requirements: For this class you will need a binder for notes and handouts, writing utensils, 2 duotangs (one
for warm up exercises and one for lab reports) and a scientific calculator. Be sure to bring all course materials
with you to class on a daily basis.

paper. More details on this assignment will be handed out separately.
2. Being here counts! If you must be absent be sure to bring a note from home explaining your absence.
Remember that it is your responsibility to get caught up on all missed work.
3. It is expected that work will be submitted on time. If you are unable to adhere to a deadline you are
responsible for making alternate arrangements with me before the assignment due date. Be prepared to stay
in at lunch if you do not meet a deadline.
4. Extra help is available Tuesdays at lunch in the computer lab (room 118) or at other times by appointment.
