Indarapatra was a brave and wise king of a distant city who taught his people how to fish,

farm, hunt herd, blacksmith, weave and heal. He has a brother named Sulayman who helped
him rule over their country.
A long long time ago, there was a country called Magindanaw where all the people who lived
there lived in prosperity, peace and contentment.
Suddenly, the peace and proper all over Magindanaw was disturbed because there are four
horrible monsters that appeared and devoured every human being they could find.
Kurita, a horrible creature with many limbs, dwelt partly on land and partly on mountain where
the rattan grew. Here it brought complete destruction on every living thing.
Tarabusaw, an ugly creature in the form of a man which lived in Mt. Matutun.
Pah. An enormous bird that was so large that when in flight, it covered the sun brought
darkness to the Earth. Its egg was as big as a house. Mt. Bita is its haunt and the only people
that could escape its greed are the ones who hid in caves.
There was also a seven-headed monster bird with the power to look in all directions at the
same time.
The destruction was so great that was caused by these creatures that even the distant lands
heard about it. When the news reached King Indarapatra he asked his brother Sulayman to
save the people of Magindanaw and conquer the terrible creatures.
Sulayman departed for Magindanaw and as he ventured out to the land, the earth began to
shake.
Kurita sprang at Sulayman but he was able to cut it into pieces by using his sword.
After his initial success, he conquered then Tarabusaw by making it tired and using his sword.
The next target of Sulayman was to kill Pah and as he surveyed the lands of Mt. Bita, he saw it
flying through the air and struck it with his sword, severing its wings. But its large wings fell
over Sulayman which crushed him.
Indarapatra heard the news about his brother and went over to the lands to search and
avenged for him.
He found his brothers body and was able to revive him to life through a small jar of magical
water which he poured over Sulayman.
Indarapatra went over to Mt. Gurayon and killed the dreadful bird with seven heads.
After the monsters had been destroyed and peace has once again settled over land,
Indarapatra searched for the people hiding in the caves.
As he was searching for the people, he came across a beautiful maiden. When he tried and
approached her, it disappeared down the hole in a ground.
Disappointed and tired, Indarapatra decided to rest and soon enough, there was an old lady
who approached him and led him toward the cave where the only surviving people live.

Indarapatra enchanted the survivors land with the stories of how he and his brother Sulayman
defeated the monsters. The headman of the land became very grateful and decided to offer his
daughter in marriage which turned out to be the beautiful maiden that Indarapatra have seen.

With the monsters gone, the people came out of hiding and returned to their homes, soon,
there was peace, prosperity and happiness.
