It is more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends.

Agree or disagree with this statement.

When we talk about the important moments or people in our lives, there is a special
place for our friends. For some people, it is better to preserveconserve old friends
than makinge new friends. I disagree with this idea because, I believe that although
old friends are always in your heart and they are really valuable, you cannot close the
door to know other people. These are some points to take in account: First of all, new
friends can become friends forever. Additionally, you can learn from theise persons.
Finally, it is possible to know and share news experiences from the environment of Commented [GBB1]: Adjectives are not in plural!
theise friends. In next paragraphs, I will share more details about this topic.

In first place, it is essential to understand that you have old friends because you gave
yourself the opportunity to meet with them and, with the time, they became in real
friends. So, if you open the door and accepted to make new friends, probably you can
build a good friendship for a long time. For example: although I still
preserveconserved my friends from high schoolcollege, atin the university, I made
new friends that, after six years, they followkeep sharing important moments with me.
This point shows what I think about friendship.

In second place, I think that every person is a different world. So, I consider that we
can learn from every person that we meet in our lives. A new friend can teach you
other things that you do not know or you are never interested ion it. As a good
example of this, I have a story with a close friend. She always likes to make exercise, so
she encouraged me to have new healthy habits. This was good because I learnt new
ways to have a healthy life. This example explained one important benefit of make
new friends. Commented [GBB2]: This is more effective and
complete!!!
Last but not least, I consider that it is important to make new friends in different
places like: high schoolcollege, university, work or sports, because they can share with
you experiences that allow you to know more about theise persons and learn about
their environments. When I began to work, I met with great friends that shared with
me things that helped me to bedo more efficient atmy work. This idea expresses my
opinion about the topic.

In conclusion, I disagree with the idea that it is more important to keep old friends
than makinge new ones for the different reasons that I presented previously. So, I
think that it is essential to open the door to make new friends.
