On October 2016, we have registered ourselves to progress our studies from Nilai

University Diploma to Bachelor. During that semester, we paid the tuition fees and resource
fees by our own since that the payment is not covered by Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan
Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN). On next semester January 2017, we applied for PTPTN loan to
cover our rest of the tuition fees and PTPTN successfully release the first payment from our
CIMB Bank to Nilai University. Therefore, we get a credit exemption from Diploma to
Bachelor around 10 or 12 subjects from the respective engineering head of department which
is equivalent to one year course waive and even we are eligible to get 15% of tuition fees waive
as alumni discount.

Moreover, the total course fees for both Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering and Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering is RM69,120, after credit exemption and
15% alumni discount waive for BEE is RM46,359 and for BME is RM42,228. PTPTN
approved enough amount for us to cover all the tuition fees. Furthermore, PTPTN pays three
times a year for the semester. So in that case each semester its cost us more than what PTPTN
paying and we even cant afford to pay more for each semester. For an example, that semester
we register for 5 subjects, each subjects fees cost RM1620 so total for 5 subjects is RM8100,
after discount waive the fees cost is RM6885 excluding resource fees RM330. Therefore, each
semester PTPTN pays around RM4680++. Which now we see total amount to pay by students
is RM2205 after PTPTN pays, if we take subjects according to PTPTN payment for each
semester we can only take 2 or 3 subjects for long and short semester, this will definitely take
us a lot of time to complete our Bachelor. Since the PTPTN covering our course fees more than
actual fees, we wish not to payment the remaining fees on the particular semester after the
PTPTN has settle our fees because we unable to bear much fees like this in current and future
semester. In fact, we aware that PTPTN doesnt pay retake subjects, well be responsible to our
retake subjects fees, if it occur in future.

We are write this latter formally to Respective HOD or Higher Nilai University
Administrator to accept this latter and we hope the management can solve our request, as it
