Statement of Intent
Write a statement clarifying the intent of the project by explaining clearly what is to
be achieved and why. (100-150 words).
Use the following headings to help you organize your statement.

Idea
Describe the idea for your project: - what are you creating?

Software to be used
List the software you need to complete the project, and what it will be used
for.

Equipment to be used
List the equipment you need to complete the project, and what it will be used
for.

Motivation
Why are you creating this project? What has motivated your ideas? What has
inspired you to create your project?

Time Plan
Outline the actions required to complete the project.
Map the projected order of production, including evaluation.
Use the template provided on Moodle, or create your own version of this document.

Research
The project must be your own work; however you may get inspiration from a variety
of sources.
List the details of information sources (including images and other models) used and
explain the relevance of each source to your project.
Include websites, tutorials, textbooks, practicing with software etc.

Record of production

Include references to the:-

Statement of Intent (eg. did you achieve what you set out to?),
Time Plan (eg. How did you manage your time? Could you manage it
better? How?); and
Record of production (eg. What problems did you encounter? How did you
deal with them? What skills did you need to acquire? How did you do that?
Was your project successful? Why? Etc)
