Facing Threats, Growing Opportunities

Friday, November 16 • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CU Sustainability, Energy and Environment Center (SEEC)
4001 Discovery Dr, Boulder, CO 80303

ARE YOU:
• Growing concerned about how climate change and urban development
may be impacting our local ecosystems? YOU’RE
• Aware of indicators such as species declines (pollinators, song birds, INVITED!
aquatic species), unusual animal behaviors, urban forest die back
(from Emerald Ash Borer, other insects & diseases)?
• Curious about what’s being done locally and how you might help?

Join a gathering of local citizens, scientists, public officials, and non-profits

to explore emerging ecosystem threats and how we can coordinate efforts
to respond most effectively.

The focus of this day-long summit will be on developing solutions. A number of significant,
local environmental initiatives will be announced at the gathering.

This will be a great opportunity to learn about and connect with local efforts BoulderColorado.gov/Climate/Ecosystems
