Hijama, hijamah and or AL- Hijamah

Al-hijama, Hijamah ‫ حجامة‬means “Sucking” is a process often translated as either tissue, blood
letting or wet cupping, which is fundamentally different to both process. The panacea for
those in search of good health is treatment of ailment and preventive remedies with the hijama
which involves extracting septic blood from the body by means of making small scratches to
the top of skin and then place Glass or plastic cups for cleansing the exterior parts of the body
more than puncturing the veins for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) which is a blood clot
(thrombus) that develops in a deep vein, usually in the lower leg. Deep vein thrombosis can
cause pain in the leg and can potentially lead to complications. About 1-4 people in 1000
develop a DVT each year in the USA.

Blood clots outside a blood vessel,Is a normal process which protects the body against losing
blood. If the blood clots inside a blood vessel however (as with DVT), this can be dangerous.
Hijama is normally performed between the sholuders plate, head & can be performed
anywhere on the body including the chin, The jaws, The nape cavity, The two jugular veins
and the upper part of the back, Top of the foot, The lower part of the chest, often at the site of
an ache or pain in order to ease or alleviate pain.

Hijama is generally performed by Muslims as it is form of medicine specifically mentioned

and encouraged by the prophet Muhammad PBUH(‫)صلى ال عليه و سلم‬: It is mentioned in a
hadith recorded by Ibn Mageh,Al-Bukhaari (5263) and Muslim (2952) that “Hijama is among
your best remedies” (‫)خير ما تداويتم به الحجامة‬
Pulmonary embolism (PE) happens when a piece of the blood clot breaks off and travels in
the bloodstream to become lodged in the lungs and block blood flow
A pulmonary embolism is a potentially fatal condition that can kill within hours.

The spots on the body chosen for wet hijama is first shaved to ensure a tight seal with the
Glass or plastic cup the knowledge of the surgeon hajim in performing surgery of hijama is
paramount. A good surgeon "hajim" must know the path of the nerves, arteries, and veins so
as not to sever them. The locations, contours, and natures of the organs must be known in
order to best treat the patient. The best Signals relay to, from and within the brain by nerve
cells to stem cell. Therfore:

Factories of red blood cell reside inside the bone marrow can be activated and or help repair
organs, grow bones when hijama on top coccygeal area, proper food diet and exercise
followed.

I have made careful descriptions of all of the organs in this blog.

Glass and plastic cups are generally used, although traditionally horns were used at the time
of Sahabh (companian of the prpophet PBUH is placed on the skin at the spot chosen for wet
hijama to create a tight seal, or generally by burning a small piece of paper or cotton inside
the glass or bamboo cup, so that the mouth of the cup clings to the skin. Alternatively a
machine can be used instead in the 21st century. The cup is left to cling to the skin for a one
minute, then it is lifted off and a couple of very small scratches are made in the skin, normally
with a sterlize blade. The cup is then put back as it was before until it is filled with the septic
blood that comes out of the caplaries. This blood is generally either black or very dark red,
and is clearly distinguishable from the person's normal blood.

It is claimed by its supporters that hijamah can be used to treat circulatory diseases, blood
pressure, chest diseases, headache, eye, rheumatic, and joint pain, as well as to improve
memory - no double-blind randomised controlled trial has been conducted to test these claims
in the USA. Hijamah should not be confused with the practice of venesection or blood-letting
which was used to remove larger quantities of blood from vaien- Galen, Ibn-Sina (Avicenna)
and Al-Zahrawi(Albucasis) advocated this for treatment of various diseases. William Harvey
and Jan Baptista van Helmont disapproved of venesection. Pierre Charles Alexander Louis
demonstrated that blood-letting did not benefit in pneumonia - a disease in which it was
thought to be particularly beneficial.

Clot Causes:

1-age - as people over 40 are at greater risk of clot

2-a past family history smoking, Drinking or Falling
3-an inherited condition that makes the blood more likely to clot than usual
4-immobility
5-obesity
6-recent surgery or an injury, especially to the hips or knees
7-pregnancy
8-having recently had a baby
9-having cancer and its treatments
10-taking a contraceptive pill that contains oestrogen - but most modern pills contain a low-
dose, which increases the risk by an amount that is acceptable for most women
11-hormone replacement therapy (HRT) - but for many women, the other benefits outweigh
the increase in risk of CVS disease
12-treatment for other circulation or heart problems1
13- Coagulation, which is encouraged by the presence of tissue debris, collagen or fats in the
veins.
Orthopaedic surgery often releases these materials into the blood system. During hip
replacement surgery, reaming and preparing the bone to receive the prosthesis can also release
chemical substances (antigens) that stimulate clot formation into the blood stream and or open
heart surgery.

The suitable age for hijama operation

1- Concerning men:

Sinc Pharmaceutical companies, broke the ethics of the medical profession and corrupting
consciences of doctors, and divert them from the practical profession more humane to the role
Masukin and distributors of medicines through the temptations offered by many delegates
marketing medicines for the promotion of their medicines. It is incumbent upon every male
who reaches the twenty-two years of age and every female who surpasses the menopause
stage to undergo cupping operation from the seventeenth day of the lunar month which comes
in the any season of every lunar year until the twenty-seventh day of it. Childhood and
adulthood stages require big quantities of iron because the body is in the phase of growth.

These quantities are not completely supplied by food for this growing body. This decrease in
blood is equalized by the way of digesting the senile and spoiled red corpuscles in the liver
and the spleen, and the phagocytes of the body forming the stored iron reserve are kept for the
body needs. The body in general and its bone marrow in particular benefit from these
corpuscles after transforming them suitably in a series of operations in addition to the
construction of its red corpuscles . After the twenty years, the big consumption of the spoiled
red corpuscles stops for the cessation of the speed of growth. The surplus of it becomes big
and “it must be discharged”.

2- Concerning the woman:

The woman has a natural outlet through which she can release herself from bad blood. During
menstruation period, her blood circulation becomes at the apex of activity. When the woman
reaches her menopause stage, her menses ceases and she becomes subject to the same
conditions of the man who reaches the age of twenty. Thus she enters a new physio-logical
phase leading to psychological and physical changes paving the way to the rise of various
diseases such as high blood pressure, coronary insufficiency and diabetes, and the like. In this
situation, cupping becomes inevitable and there is no other alternative for it. It returns to the
psychological and physical stability to the woman. If she refuses to perform the simple
cupping operation, her body becomes a pasture for maladies and prone to diseases.

3- Timing of the hijama-Cupping operation

hjama operation has four dates:

1- The annual date:

The Messenger (Pbuh ) said, “How good the recompense in hijama is !”

Thus it is usually performed from year to year for both the healthy and the patient. It is a
protection for the healthy and a therapy and a protection for the patient.

2- The seasonal date:

The Messenger (Pbuh) said, “Relieve yourselves from the intensity of heat by
cupping.”Therefore cupping must be performed before the summer season because heat is
most intense at this time of the year. Hence the best season is the spring. Cupping must be
performed every year in the spring season, namely in April and May.

The all year around:

When ther are pain, We must apply hijama

Before giving the scientific interpretation (the physiological) of this date, we must give a
simple glimpse about the function of the blood in regulating the animal heat. As it is known
that water constitutes the maximum proportion in the blood (90%) of its plasma. Since water
has basic properties that differentiate it from other liquids known in nature, these properties
make water the best assistant liquid to help regulating the animal heat in a living being. This
property has a high faculty of storing heat than any other liquid or solid material. Therefore it
stores the heat it receives in its passage through the more active and warm tissues and carries
it to other tissues of less warmth in its movement through the various parts of the body.
Therefore blood has (the proportion of water in its formation and its roundtrip in the tissues of
the body) has a high faculty in transmitting heat higher than any other faculty of various
tissues in the body.
Therefore blood is the first recipient and the first main influenced thing by the outside heat(of
all the body tissues) which is effective on the body. It sucks heat from the body particles
surrounding the body to transport it to the less warm particles and vice versa.

In view of the continuous blood circulation, it acts in regulating the animal heat by warming
the cool parts or cooling the warm parts until the animal heat remains constant. The chance for
cupping is realized two times in the year, i.e. in April and in May, and perhaps a third time in
late of March if the warmth comes at the end of it with only the decrease of the crescent. In
this time of the spring, we trace the lunar month until it becomes the 17th day of it , then one
can undergo cupping in one of these days (from the seventeeth day until the twenty-seven day
inclusive). If he misses the first month, the advent of the (17th) of the next lunar month (in
which cupping is permissible), he can also make up for the chance. Naturally, there are some
irregular years when April is also intensive in chilliness, then we must wait until May, or we
could perhaps perform the cupping operation in April. The (17) of the lunar month may in
April and the weather is still cold, we wait until the weather becomes moderate and warm on
the (22) of the same lunar month then we start cupping. Therefore, the problem is limited by
the general rule which we cannot overcome for it is springtime (April, May and perhaps late
of March and the early of June) from the seventeenth day until the twenty-seventh day of the
lunar month exclusively depending on the rise in temperature in March and the drop of it at
the beginning of June if both changes occur along with the decrease of the lunar month as
long you do hijama on 17,19,21 of lunar month you will be protected a head from any disease
but the genral rules of hijama it can be done any time any date if you are in pain. In this way,
we get use of one-third of the year to perform the cupping opration.

3- The Monthly Date:

The Messenger of God said, “hijama is most detestable at the beginning of the crescent and
helpful when it decreases.” Therefore, we must follow up the recommen- dation of the
Messenger (Pbuh ) on the lunar month when the time of the annual hijama comes. For
example, when April comes we follow up the progression of the lunar month which comes in
this month (April), and when the seventeenth day of the lunar month comes, it will certainly
be the first day for performing hijama. Therefore, Hijama starts from the seventeenth day
(inclusive) until the twenty-seventh day (inclusive).

The Relation of the Moon with hijamaology-Cupping

What secret it was that made the Messenger (Pbuh ) apprise of the date of cupping to be in the
springtide with the progression of the lunar month from only the seventeenth day until the
twenty-seventh day of it!

We know that the moon has a pull effect on the earth despite its little diameter (3,478 km),and
its mass constitutes one part out of (80) parts of the mass of the earth, and its average nearness
to the earth amounts to (385,000 km) which makes its pulling force have a great influence on
the oceans where they rise to form the tide, and even the earth crust is never free from these
effects. The crust of the north American continent heaves to fifteen centi-meters when the
moon interposes its sky. The moon has also the effect on the rise of sap in the high trees.
The two French professors (Jube and Galier de Fond) noticed that the moon has an effect on
animals from its birth as a crescent until it brcomes full-moon. The sexual heat acti-vates in
animals, poultry and birds. They also noticed that poultry give more eggs in this period more
than the period of senility when the moon begins its gradual atrophy to hunch-back, then to
the last lunar quarter, and to waning. According to special notice, it is found that there is a
period of activity and much energy in animals connected with the lunar stages. They also
noticed that poultry and some domesticated animals, and fishes, animals and lobsters of the
Indian Ocean and the Red Sea produce more eggs in certain periods of the moon faces.

The moon culminates in its effect when it is full-moon. It affects blood pressure in
heightening the blood and in irritating it whereas it arouses the sexual craving. Also some
western countries suffer much from the increase in the rate of crimes and assaults in nights
and days of the full-moon.

During the first days of the lunar month, i.e. from the first day until of the fifteenth day, blood
is irritated and it reaches its maximal limit and eventually it moves all the blood residues and
impurities which precipitated along the walls of the deep and superficial vascular veins and in
all the ramifications of the tissues (exactly as, in turn, it stirs the water of the seas as a big
spoon so as the salts in them will not precipitate). Likewise, it can pull the blood to the
calmest parts of the body where it settles in the shoulder blades area when the moon begins to
decrease from (17 – 27).

The tide of the seas due to the lunar pull begins to weaken from (17 – 27). Since the cupping
operation is performed in the morning after sleep and rest for the body and the blood
circulation, and the moon is still rising despite the sunrise in the morning. The moon will have
a little tidal effect during the performance of cupping. This situation is very good for our work
for the moon still has the effect of pulling the blood from inside to the outside (the inner blood
of the peripheral blood and the peripheral blood surround-ing the opening of the cup). This
situation has and excellent effect in performing a successful and profitable cupping operation
to release the body from its impure blood.

If the cupping operation is performed in the middle of the lunar days (12-13-14-15), the
strong pull of the moon irritates the blood, and the blood will lose much of its young
corpuscles, the Merciful God does not wish that for his servant- mankind. But the first days of
the moon (crescent) do not let it do its job in carrying the blood residues and imprrities from
the inside to the outside in order to gather in the upper part of the back as it has been
mentioned befor. The Daily Date:

The cupping operation is usually performed in the early morning after the sunrise, but the
time of ending it is done according to the amount of warmth in the air. If the heat is high due
to the rise of the sun and the weather is moderate, we continue working until noon, such a
timing is permissible but not desirable. It is better for cupping to be peformed at the fist hours
of the day (because cupping must be performed while the person is still without having
breakfast. We shall explain the reason later). If a person remains without having breakfast for
late hours of the day (before the sun occupies the middle of the sky), he will become tired and
dizzy for the delay of having his breakfast and having performed the cupping operation. In
order to avoid all these problems and to perform a correct useful cupping operation to the best
of it, we must hasten to perform it in the early hours of the day from seven o’clock until ten
o’clock,

and in a needful situation until eleven o’clock or twelve o’clock if the (27) of the month has
caught up the therapist and the weather is moderate and not intense in heat. When we delay
the operation until (midday), we certain-ly move and work and this moves the blood a little
and scoops with it all what remained under the shoulder blades and eventually the benefit
from cupping is not complete. Avecina mentioned the time saying, “Its times are in the day
between the second hour and the third hour in the sundown-timing” and that is equal to from
8 o’clock until 9 o’clock in the morning according to our noon-timing.

The Physiological Condition of the Body

The cupping operation must be done without having breakfast on the part of the person to be
cupped. The Messenger of God ( ) said, “Cup-ping without breakfast is optimal, and it has
cure and benediction.” It is forbidden for a person to be cupped to take in any morsel in the
morning of cupping, but to remain fasting until performing it. He is permitted to drink a cup
of coffee or tea for the sugar it con-tains is little and it does not need complicated digestive
operations which stir the blood, activate the blood circulation, affect the blood pressure, and
the heart beats. Also this little quantity of tea or coffee contain a simple nerve stimulant which
makes the person undergo cupping in awakeness. For this reason the Prophet prohibited
eating before cupping for it activates the digestive system anssssssd the blood circulation in
order to re-compense the digestive operations which lead to the increase of heart beats, blood
flow, and a high blood pressure. This case will move the sluggish and retired blood of its resi-
dues precipitated in the superficial and deep vascular veins in the region of the upper back
(gathered during sleep). Also blood activates during the distribution of the cycle in order to
feed all the body tissues. Such a situation does not fit cupping. If cupping is performed in
similar condition, the output blood is working blood and we have lost the expected benefit
from cupping. The person subjected to cupping will also suffer from slight vertigo and
syncope as a result of the small quantity of blood which goes to the brain.

Curing sciatica
sci·at·i·ca /saætika/
–noun Pathology.
1. pain and tenderness at some points of the sciatic nerve, usually caused by a prolapsed
intervertebral disk; sciatic neuralgia.
2. any painful disorder extending from the hip down the back of the thigh and
surrounding area.

In order to accomplish curing sciatica we must follow the following : Ibn Majah narrated in
his Sunan that Anas bin Malik said, I heared the Messenger of Allah {Pbuh} saying:

"Melt the fat from tail of a nomad's ewe. Then, the fat is divided into three parts and one part
per day must be drunk on an empty stomack."

The benefits of drinking camel urine

Question:
I hope that you can provide me with a scientific answer - if such knowledge is available -
about the saheeh hadeeth about drinking camel’s urine. May Allaah reward you.

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.
The hadeeth referred to by the questioner is a saheeh hadeeth, in which it says that some
people came to Madeenah and fell sick. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) told them to drink the milk and urine of camels, and they recovered and grew fat. In the
story it also says that they apostatized and killed the camel-herder, then the Muslims caught
them and executed them. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2855) and Muslim (1671).
With regard to the health benefits of drinking the milk and urine of camels, they are many,
and they are well known to the earlier generations of medical science and they have been
proven by modern scientific research.
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
The author of al-Qanoon (the Canon) - i.e. the doctor Ibn Seena (Avicenna) - said:
The most beneficial of urine is the urine of Bedouin camels which are called najeeb. End
quote.
Zaad al-Ma’aad (4/47, 48).

In the Emirati newspaper al-Ittihaad (issue no. 11172, Sunday 6 Muharram 1427 AH/5
February 2006) it says:
One of the most important things for which camels are raised is their milk, which is
efficacious in treating many illnesses, including hepatitis, and the digestive system in general,
various types of cancer and other diseases.

In an article by Dr Ahlaam al-‘Awadi, which was published in al-Da’wah magazine, issue no.
1938, 25 Safar 1425 AH/15 April 2004 CE, about the diseases which can be treated with
camel’s milk, as proven by experience, it says that there are many benefits in camel’s milk.
There follows some of what was said in the article by Dr. Ahlaam:
Camel’s urine is efficacious in the treatment of skin diseases such as ringworm, tinea and
abscesses, sores that may appear on the body and hair, and dry and wet ulcers. Camel’s urine
brings the secondary benefits of making the hair lustrous and thick, and removing dandruff
from the scalp. Camel’s milk is also beneficial in treating hepatitis, even if it has reached an
advanced stage where medicine is unable to treat it. End quote.
In the al-Jazeerah al-Sa’oodiyyah newspaper (issue no. 10132, Rabee’ al-Awwal 1421 AH)
there is a quotation from the book Al-Ibl Asraar wa i’jaaz (The camel: secrets and wonders)
by Darmaan ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez Aal Darmaan and Sanad ibn Mutlaq al-Subay’i:
As for camel’s urine, the book suggests that it has numerous uses which are beneficial for
man. This is indicated by the Prophetic texts and confirmed by modern science … Scientific
experiments have proven that camel’s urine has a lethal effect on the germs that cause many
diseases.

Among the uses of camel’s urine, many women use it to wash their hair, to make it longer,
and to make it lighter and more lustrous. Camel’s urine is also efficacious in the treatment of
swelling of the liver and other diseases such as abscesses, sores that appear on the body and
toothache, and for washing eyes. End quote.

Prof. Dr. ‘Abd al-Fattaah Mahmoud Idrees says: With regard to the benefits of camel’s urine
in treating disease, Ibn Seena said in his Qanoon: The most beneficial of urine is the urine of
the Bedouin camels known as najeeb. Camel’s urine is beneficial in treating al-hazaaz, and it
was said that al-hazzaz is a pain in the heart caused by anger and so on. Camel’s urine,
especially the urine of a young she-camel - is used as a cleansing substance to wash wounds
and sores, to make the hair grow, to strengthen and thicken it and to prevent it falling out, and
it is used to treat diseases of the scalp and dandruff. In a Master’s thesis by an engineer in
applied chemistry, Muhammad Awhaaj Muhammad, that was submitted to the faculty of
applied chemistry in the al-Jazeerah university in Sudan, and approved by the Dean of science
and postgraduate studies in the university in November 1998 CE, entitled A Study of the
Chemical Composition and Some Medical Uses of the Urine of Arabian Camels, Muhammad
Awhaaj says:
Laboratory tests indicate that camel’s urine contains high levels of potassium, albuminous
proteins, and small amounts of uric acid, sodium and creatine.
In this study, he explained that what prompted him to study the medicinal properties of
camel’s urine was what he had seen of some tribesmen drinking this urine whenever they
suffered digestion problems. He sought the help of some doctors in studying camel’s urine.

They brought a number of patients and prescribed this urine for them, for a period of two
months. Their bodies recovered from what they had been suffering from, which proves the
efficacy of camel’s urine in treating some diseases of the digestive system.
It also proves that this urine is useful in preventing hair loss. He says:
Camel’s urine acts as a slow-acting diuretic, but it does not deplete potassium and other salts
as other diuretics do, because camel’s urine contains a high level of potassium and proteins. It
has also been proven to be effective against some types of bacteria and viruses. It brought
about an improvement in the condition of twenty-five patients who used camel’s urine for
dropsy, without disrupting their potassium levels. Two of them were cured of liver pain, and
their liver function was restored to normal levels, as well as the tissue of the liver being
improved. One of the medicines used to treat blood clots is a compound called Fibrinoltics
which works by changing a substance in the body from its inactive form, Plasminogen, to its
active form, Plasmin, in order to dissolve the substance that causes clotting, Fibrin. One of the
components of this compound is called Urokinase, which is produced by the kidneys or from
the urine, as indicated by the name “uro”.

The dean of the Faculty of Medical Science in the Sudanese al-Jazeerah university, Professor
Ahmad ‘Abd-Allaah Ahmadaani, has discovered a practical way of using camel’s urine to
treat dropsy and swelling in the liver. Its success has been proven in treating those who are
affected by these diseases. He said in a seminar organized by the al-Jazeerah University:
The experiment began by giving each patient a daily dose of camel’s urine mixed with
camel’s milk to make it palatable. Fifteen days after the beginning of the experiment, the
patients’ stomachs grew smaller and went back to their normal size.
He said that he examined the patients’ livers with ultrasound before the study began, and he
found out that the livers of fifteen out of the twenty-five were in a cirrhotic state, and some of
them had developed cirrhosis of the liver as the result of bilharzia. All of the patients
responded to treatment with camel’s urine, and some of them continued, by their own choice,
to drink a dose of camel’s urine every day for a further two months. At the end of that time,
they were all found to have been cured of cirrhosis of the liver. He said: Camel’s urine
contains a large amount of potassium, as well as albumen and magnesium, because the camel
only drinks four times during the summer and once during the winter, which makes it retain
water in its body so as to preserve the sodium, and the sodium causes it not to urinate a great
deal, because it keeps the water in its body.

He explained that dropsy results from a deficiency of albumen or potassium, and the urine of
camels in rich in both of these.
He suggested that the best type of camels for using the urine as a remedy are young camels.
Dr. Ahlaam al-‘Awadi, a specialist in microbiology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
supervised some scientific papers that dealt with her discoveries in the usage of camel’s urine
for medical treatment, such as the papers by ‘Awaatif al-Jadeedi and Manaal al-Qattaan.
During her supervision of the paper by Manaal al-Qattaan, she succeeded in confirming the
effectiveness of using a preparation made from camel’s urine which was the first antibiotic
produced in this manner anywhere in the world. Concerning the features of this new product,
Dr. Ahlaam said:
It is not costly, and it is easy to manufacture. It can be used to treat skin diseases such as
eczema, allergies, sores, burns, acne, nail infections, cancer, hepatitis and dropsy with no
harmful side effects.
And she said:
Camel’s urine contains a number of healing factors such as antibiotics (bacteria that are
present in it, salts and urea). The camel possesses an immune system that is highly equipped
to combat funguses, bacteria and viruses, because it contains antibodies. It may also be used
to treat blood clots and fibrinolytics may be derived from it, and it may be used to treat dropsy
(which is caused by a deficiency in albumen and potassium, as camel’s urine is rich in both).
Camel’s urine may also provide a remedy for abdominal complaints, especially those of the
stomach and intestines, as well as asthma and shortness of breath. It caused a noticeable
reduction in patients’ sugar levels. It is a remedy for low libido, and it aids in bone growth in
children and in strengthening the heart muscles. It may be used as a cleansing agent for
cleaning wounds and sores, especially the urine of young she-camels. It also helps the hair to
grow and become strong and thick, and it helps to prevent hair loss and baldness, and can be
used to treat dandruff. Camel’s urine may also be used to combat disease by using bacteria
extracted from it. It was used to treat a girl who was suffering from an infection behind the
ear, that was accompanied by pus weeping from it and painful cracks and sores. It was also
used to treat a girl who was unable to extend the fingers of her hands because of the presence
of so many cracks and sores, and whose face was almost black with pimples. Dr. Ahlaam said:

Camel’s urine may also be used to treat the digestive system and to treat some cases of cancer.
She stated that the research that she had undertaken on camel’s urine proved that it was
effective in destroying micro-organisms such as fungus, yeast and bacteria.
Dr. Rahmah al-‘Ulyaani, who is also from Saudi Arabia, carried out tests on rabbits infected
with bacteria in the colon. She treated each group of rabbits with a different kind of medicine,
including camel’s urine. There was a noticeable regression in the rabbits that were treated
with other medicines, except for camel’s urine, which brought about a clear improvement.
Majallat al-Jundi al-Muslim, issue no. 118, 20 Dhu’l-Qa’dah 1425 AH; 1 January 2005 CE.
Allaah calls upon us to ponder the creation of the camel, as He says (interpretation of the
meaning):

“Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?”
al-Ghaashiyah 88:17
This pondering is not limited to the outward form of the camel, or even to the inner workings
of its body, rather it also includes that which we have discussed here, which is the benefits of
the urine and milk of the camel. Modern scientific research is still discovering for us many of
the wonders of this creature.
And Allaah knows best.
