Whydoesadelta/wyetransformermake30degreesphaseshift?

I'vheardthatadelta/deltaorWye/Wyetransformersdonotmakeanyphaseshift.Indelta/wyeorwye/deltatransformers,
Thereisa30degreesphaseshiftbetweentheprimaryandsecondarycoils.So,Whyisthereaphaseshift?andWhyisit30
degrees?..Whynot60or120?

IgoogledandIfoundcalculationswithphasordiagramsthatprovesthe30degreesphasebutI'mconfusedbecauseoftoo
manycalculationsanddiagrams,Ididn'tgetit.

Wouldyougivemeasimpleanswer,please?andIpreferthephysicalmeaningsandconceptsratherthanequationsand

The"A"phasevoltage(toneutral)ismychosenreferencethatallothervoltage
phaseanglesaremeasuredfromhence,VB is120laggingVA andVC is120
degreesleadingVA .

WhataboutthevoltagebetweenlineAandlineB(akaVAB )thisiscalledline
voltage(nottobemistakenwithvoltagesbetweenphaseandneutral).Line

voltagesare3timesbiggerthanphasevoltages.

IfyouusetrigonometryandresolveallthetrianglesyoucanfindthelengthofVAB

itis3timesbiggerthaneitherAorBtoneutral.

It'salso30degreesleadingAandthisiswherethe30degreescomesfrom.

So,adeltaprimarywillreceiveprimarylinevoltagesofVAB .VBC andVC A .

Giventhatatransformerdoesn'tinherentlyphaseshiftanything(otherthanthe
