 Chapter-1

1.1 Abstract
All bachelor degree students are required to undergo industrial training for 4 weeks
as part of their curriculum to complete their 4 year course for the Bachelor of Information
Technology. The attachment will be during the 7th semester of their study. During the 4
weeks period of training, students will be supervised and monitored their training by two
nominated supervisors.

For my industrial training, I did at Team computers Pvt Ltd which situated in
New Delhi. It is a software as well as hardware based company which teaches students how
to work on various platforms. This company indulges in making various projects.

I was assigned to the software section where I was taught as well as I made projects
under my supervisor Mr. Nitin yadav and my academic supervisor is Mr.Benzula Anbu .
For the first week I learned about the basic operation in tableau. That includes the use of
environment. We used to work on tableau . Then for the second week I was assigned to
do small data analysis.

Third week I was given basic knowledge of ms excel and how to visualize data on it using its
different functions.
 CHAPTER-2
2.0 SYNOPSIS

In this internship I acquired various kinds of software as well basic knowledge of the tableau
and excel tool

I was introduced to various new terms that are applicable in the real business world
especially that done on the web.
Various details about tableau software and its uses were taught to us by the company
members. We were basically taught how to work on the excel and tableau.

Each module of the tool was shown to us along with its working and we were
asked to check its functionalities and report any error or help in making any changes in the
software.

I was also asked to use many data sets on different topics so that I could understand
things better.And hence use my skills to benefit my career.

2.1 Introduction

I was very warmly shown the office premises , different departments and the
place where I had to work . I also had a meeting with the team lead initially
under whom I had to work . We discussed the agenda and the details of how
would I work and what would be my routine .

I was assigned a guide and surprisingly I was told to sit in the HR office daily
for 1 hour and see how they work under the pressure situations. The daily
flow of tasks was presented to me and I had to follow that regime for the
next 30 days.

Skill set acquired

I acquired the basic knowledge of how to work and visualize data
by easy means of tableau . This visualization is very useful as it
provides easy and fast acess to the meaning of data . it also
provides knowledge for the following product queries relational databases, OLAP
cubes, cloud databases, and spreadsheets and then generates a number of graph types.
