4 About BCOA BCOA is a new College Established in 2016 with a main aim to promote Education- Research-Industry Interaction
in the field of Architecture & Urban Planning. AT BCOA Architecture is a way life. We see Architecture is not
alone while understanding human behavior; we link Architecture with Sociology, Phycology, Philosophy, Medical
Science,and Science of Philosophy. we promote our Architectural student with way of life habits with 8 creative
centers , which shape their individual Characters and personalities in establishing link between Architecture and
Society way living, thus we call Architecture + ism, a way of Life.

We promote and fund research on the topics that unites the Human Society through Architectural designs by
transforming great ideas from Sociology, Phycology, Philosophy, Medical Science, Science of Philosophy
.Proposals are accepted through the year from Professionals, Research Scholars from around the Globe.

5 Introduction to Essay Topic:
Architecture, an intrinsic Nature of Spices to build their own protective habitable spaces in the eco-system of
Nature. It may be an ant, a Snake, a Bird and Human Beings. As per Science, Big Bang which created this Creation
followed by this Universe and then a beautiful Planet Earth , which passed through millions of years in the cycle of
Evolution i,e from Primitive life form spices to Primitive man of stone age to the present man of software age and
what future holds in this evolution.

Fundamental question is ? Who holds and moulds human nature? Is it environment? and then other question
arises who holds and moulds Environment ? Are these two separate? Or are both the same? Or to say both enrich
each other or both can destroy each other. Who is bigger boss? Is nature or man? Obviously Nature in its physical
manifestation, where man is a tiny element in this Nature. So there is no question of comparison to understand
who is bigger? It is a Natural process and humans are product of this natural process. Scientifically Human Beings
are consists of 10 chemical elements in Semi-Liquid state with inbuilt force that comes with birth and diminishes
with death. Scientifically it is understood that the nature/ environment that is around in the form of images,
patterns, sounds that makes the human body feeling system to register actions as perception and show those
perceptions as further actions through various body parts in daily life.

Do Architectural design which makes built environment has any role to play in moulding peoples behavior patterns
in various places like home, school, office, play areas and in overall general civic and public spaces in the present
modern age ? . If we see the World today, the society is facing lots of serious human personal level problems like
stress, strain depression...etc and environmental pollution impacted diseases and associated problems. Due to this
, Civic institutions are not able to cope up with the pressure to handle human problems from Democracy to
Entertainment. Do architecture dividing the people, communities and societies and solidifying human mindsets
rather than serving to Human natural minds way of living Can a home form show the equality of opposite forms
energy, where any negative action by house member equally reflects reaction force by others and at the end both
energy forms goes into annihilation cycle of recycling. Can a house design show the Origin point of human body
and from cradle to crematorium making ones to know the value of Human Life. Who is breaking the homes ?
World is witnessing at present 65.0 Millionsas Refugees, who lost their homes and lodged in Refugee camps all
over the World.. How come a man who born in a home, grown up and destroys his own home and other homes.

Sociologist says, it is the collective irresponsible behavior and glorification of imagined negative human qualities in
human day to day life, which is the root cause and mother of all problems. Habitable space, a house is the living
space where everyone performs activities like learn, work, and play. Why house form / design / interior design not
able to influence what is good behavior to its inhabitants? Why there is so much domestic violence right under the
most of the houses? Why Democratic institutions like Parliament do not serve its fullest purpose? Is there anything
wrong in its building form / design, where it is not able to influence peoples representatives collective
responsibility to do good to society?

Why there are campus violence and shoot outs?,Why Student Suicides are happening ? are they not enjoying their
own existence in their home ? Is there anything wrong in school building form / design, where it is not able to
connect users i.e. students to their education being learned. Why Architectural design not able to directly reflect in
its building forms not through any assigned abstract forms but more directly as described in human behavioral
subjects like Sociology, Phycology, Philosophy, Medical Science, Biology, Science of Philosophy where the human
positive qualities are described so that users will be able to connect to positivity at different building spaces.

Why people go for violent behavior during public protest? Are our public spaces devoid of required symbolism
showing public integration and unity? Can an architectural design / form connect users to their origins at various
public / Civic spaces ? Can public spaces inspire people to give respect to even a garbage Bin as Hon.ble Garbage
Bin Form and make them understand that its material elements are permanent beings in the creation.

Why not a Police Station building form/ design to be a deterrent to crime ?is there anything wrong in the Police
station buildings form /design that crimes happen near by or right close to Police station buildings ?. Why majority
of Prisoners are not able to get reformed in Prisons? Can a Prison space connect users i.e Inmates to their Origins .
Is there something wrong in Prison building form / design, where spaces and users are not connected with each
other?.

The above problems are not todays problems; these are coming from centuries and only scale matters now. Why
architectural design creativity is not able to provide solutions at the very basic habitable space i.e. at right in Home
. It means ,can architectural design create a human wisdom and expansion of human perception right in the
middle of home ?. Can Architectural design of a home inspire the members to give equal respect for Living and
non-living things ?. Can a Home design inspire to tag a garbage bin as Hon.ble Garbage Bin Form.
 Can we afford to continue with the same Architectural design sense or is there any missing sense of design
dimensions to unleash the futuristic role to Bridge the Broken hearts and broken Boundaries within Nation and in
between Nations. is there any wisdom architecture ? , where one gets wisdom and ultimately lead to wellness
&bliss right under the roof of home without going or visiting any other places?.

As there are human behavioral knowledge spheres with Sociology, Phycology, Philosophy, Medical Science, Biology,
Science of Philosophy , the question comes , is architecture taking adequate key points from these subjects ? and
able to give them a physical shapes to inspire users behavior towards positivity at various building spaces. If not,
then what is architecture design ?is it only technology ? or does it establishes connection / concerned about users
behavior patterns at those spaces ? is it working in its own isolation ? How do you make this connection between
architecture and other knowledge domains associated with human behavior more practical and implementable in
physical forms ?

Do you suggest an open dialogue between Architects and other experts of other disciplines to brain storm over
Building projects that are concerned to all people?. Can Architecture Unleash the Unknown and link the user to
his/her unbiased inner core perception at a given space to experience higher state of existence.

Take a pen sketch an easy on the futuristic role of Architectural design in solving the above age old problems.

Inspiration in the days work. I follow in buildings the Principles which Nature has used in its domain..

what will be the future forms of Homes , Learning Institutions, Working Institutions, Goverance Institutions,
Recreational Institutions and Correctional Institutions ( Prisons ).

7 Judgement Criteria Essays will be judged on the basis of Original ideas, Uniquness, and practicability and should be able to inspire
common masses in the society.

8 Prize: 1st Prize:3,000,( Three thousand ) 2ns Prize: 2,000 ( Two Thousand ) ,
3rd Prize:1,000/- ( One Thousand)
