Abstract Recon Portal is a single point of access for all reconciliation breaks
generated by various source system including Smartstream TLM,
IntelliMatch, QuickRec, EquiDerivatives, Manual File Upload. The volume
of data processed daily is huge (approx. 50 Million Transactions / more
than 15 GB). These Recons/Breaks are archived or backed up on external
tape drives as per retention days configuration. Regulatory requirements
mandate storage and availability of data for last 6 to 14 years depending
on country specific rules & regulations.
Current Archival System takes anywhere from few days to a month to
retrieve data from tape drive and generate reports as required by
regulators. The objective of this PoC is to reduce the storage, retrieval
and reporting overheads and swiftly produce the required reports from
