Summary
In August the Redondo Beach real estate market produced a 21.3% increase in closed escrows, a 1.5% improvement in net listings, and a 19.4%
spike in the sales-listing ratio metric. During this same period of time the median sales price dropped 0.1% while the median days to sell data
point surged 50%. Year-over-year months of inventory from August 2015 to 2016 decreased 50%.

In July, C.A.R. reported As we enter the second half of the year, we are likely to see some slowdown in sales that extends beyond the typical
seasonality change, said C.A.R. President Geoff McIntosh. While the rate of closed sales indicates that Californias housing market has
continued to move forward, tight supply continued to push up prices and lower affordability, which can ultimately undermine the housing
market by putting homeownership out of reach for too many households."
