4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Refer to Technical Specifications of Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit (20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-

06-106) for the technical requirements.
Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit shall be supplied complete as shown in data sheet and
requirement mentioned in technical specification. However, it is SUPPLIERs responsibility to
ensure complete supply of equipment as a whole, which can deliver its guaranteed operation
under COMPANY Standards, International Codes and Standards listed under Appendix 3 of
Technical Specification of Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit (20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-06-106).
4.1 CONSTRAINTS
SUPPLIER shall consider following constraints while preparing the technical proposal:
Skid Foot Prints:

Since the unit shall be installed on an offshore platform where space is a major constraint in
designing the deck layout, therefore, SUPPLIER shall restrict the skid footprints to the
following dimensions:
L: 5000 x W: 2800 x H: 3,058 mm (Maximum)

6. QA/QC REQUIREMENTS
6.1 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements:

SUPPLIER shall set up and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the
required level of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for the equipment and materials
included in Scope of Work, in accordance with the requirements of this specification and
those stated by CONTRACTOR and COMPANY.
SUPPLIERs Quality Management System shall meet the applicable ISO 9001 system
requirements as well as COMPANY Saudi Aramco Schedule Q requirements.
SUPPLIER shall be evaluated, approved and listed as accepted SUPPLIERs by
CONTRACTOR and COMPANY prior to placing the purchase order.
SUPPLIER shall ensure that all its sub supplier(s) set up and maintain equivalent QA/QC and
Inspection systems, and shall provide the last version of the relevant ISO 9001 certificate.
CONTRACTOR, or appointed representative, reserves the right to carry out Quality Audits at
the SUPPLIER / SUB-SUPPLIER office and works, to verify that the Quality System is being
met.
6.2 QUALITY CONTROL REQUIREMENTS
SUPPLIER shall be in compliance with Quality requirements as per COMPANY Saudi Aramco
Schedule Q requirements.

6.2.1 INSPECTION LEVEL
Inspection Level 3 for 9COM : 6000015731

As per SAEP-1151, Inspection Level 3 includes, as a minimum, pre inspection meeting, one
or more unspecified regular basis (daily, weekly or biweekly) surveillance visit/s , all witness
and hold points, final inspection and release for shipment.
6.2.2 INSPECTION & TEST PLAN (ITP)
SUPPLIER shall be in compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO Quality Requirements (Schedule

Q.). ITP shall be submitted based on the criticality of the CONTRACTOR procuring material.
As a minimum, ITP shall include the following information:

Notification requirements for SUPPLIER inspection witness and hold points (minimum 5
working days)
Responsibilities for inspection / test
Applicable procedures
Acceptance criteria (COMPANY and International Industry Standards)

7. HSE REQUIREMENTS
In line with Saipem Corporate Standard on HSE Management of SUPPLIERs and

Subcontractors (STD-COR-HSE-108), SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractor who carry out works in
their own premises shall follow Level 3 stewardship in implementation of HSE Management
System.
Under this Level 3 stewardship, all SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractor shall apply their own HSE

Management System. SAIPEM (here after referred as Contractor) shall control the SUPPLIERs
and Sub-contractors HSE management system through specific audits both in the bid and
project implementation stages based per the risk criteria.
However, the following shall be considered as minimum HSE requirements anticipated by the
Contractor from SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors working in the project:
In line with Company & Contractor HSE Policies, and on the basis that all accidents are
preventable, SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors must be committed to manage their business in a
manner that prevents injuries and occupational illnesses, and avoids damage to property and to
the environment.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors HSE Management System shall be planned, developed and
implemented in full compliance with all applicable Local and International laws and regulations,
codes, guidelines and standards provided by International Organizations (e.g. ISO 14001 &
OHSAS 18001, etc.) and with industry-accepted best HSE practices applicable to its activities
and copies of these third party certificates are required to provide upon a request.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors is responsible, through its own organization, to implement the
necessary safety regulation and measures required so as to carry out safely the work assigned
by Contractor and to prevent any accident or incident that may endanger the safety of the
personnel or may result in damage to property.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors shall implement and administer the environmental
requirements and shall, in the performance of the works, comply with all environmental
requirements and the requirements relating thereto as set forth in this Scope or Work.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors shall have reporting system on monthly/weekly basis all the
HSE information pertinent to their activities.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors should have HSE training program to provide instruction and
information on HSE standards, practices, procedures and work instructions
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors should have Risk Assessment process to analyse HSE risk
associated with subcontracted scope of works.
In addition every accident and/or injury involving SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors personnel
and/or means or equipment shall be reported to the enforcing authorities and Bodies as per
applicable legislation where required.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors shall timely provide adequate human, technical and financial

resources, so that to ensure the subcontracted SOW is carried out safely and in full respect to
the environment.
As part of SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors HSE Management system, Emergency Response/
contingency procedures shall be ensured for all possible accidental scenarios.
SUPPLIERs and Sub-contractors who are required to work in the premises of
Company/Contractor and relevant Project sites in KSA, shall comply with all Health, Safety
and Environmental Protection requirements outlined in Contractor HSE Management System
(i.e. HSE Requirements for Subcontractors Doc No SPC-COR-HSE-002) and the COMPANY
SCHEDULE B & SCHEDULE D, as well as with other relevant COMPANY standards,
general instructions and requirements. This documentation shall be available upon on
request.
8. SUPPLIER PROPOSAL
This Material Requisition specifies COMPANYs requirements and the specifications of the
material to be supplied by the SUPPLIER to CONTRACTOR. SUPPLIER shall provide
quotation for the Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit as per the detailed scope of supply
specified in Appendix 2 of Technical Specification of Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit
(20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-06-106). The material offered shall be in full compliance with the
reference documents listed in Appendix 3 of Technical Specification of Corrosion
Inhibitor Injection Unit (20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-06-106).
In case of any conflict between the requirements of this document and the attached
specification or data sheet or deviations from the relevant COMPANY Standard, the
conflict, deviation or exception shall be brought to the attention of the CONTRACTOR
in writing for resolution. SUPPLIER shall provide listing of the exceptions, deviations or
conflicts to all Standards referred herein. Listing shall refer to number, title and section
of the standard to which reference is made. If there are no exceptions, conflicts or
deviations to a Standard, the SUPPLIER shall state the same.
Spare Parts / SPDP Package shall be as per Section 4.6 of Technical Specification of
Corrosion Inhibitor Injection Unit (20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-06-106).

8.1 SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITY
The SUPPLIER shall be responsible for the detailed design and reliability of the
material/equipment.
The requirements specified by the CONTRACTOR in this material requisition are the
minimum required. SUPPLIER shall be considered an expert in this type of material and
ultimately be responsible in all aspects considering material supply and operations.
The material shall be designed with the guarantee of safe operation under all normal
situations and that routine maintenance is possible during normal plant operation.
Any corrections, alterations or additions required to conform to this specification shall be
at the SUPPLIERs expense.
SUPPLIER is solely responsible with other Saudi Aramco approved sub-supplier for the

correct and approved supplied equipment/material.

Any errors or omissions in this material requisition or COMPANY standard shall not
absolve the SUPPLIER from the responsibility of providing a fully functional assembly.
8.2 CONFLICT AND DEVIATIONS
Saudi ARAMCO References: SAEP-302 Instructions for Obtaining a Waiver of a Mandatory

Saudi ARAMCO Requirement.
8.3 CONFLICTS
All conflicts between the requirements of this requisition, relevant specification, data sheets,
standards and all the other documents referenced on section 2 of this material requisition
shall be referred to the Contractor for clarification and resolution
8.3.1 DEVIATIONS
Any deviation less than minimum requirement of this specification and relevant company
standard as listed in section 2 of this material requisition shall be issued separately with the
bid by a dedicated section (Refer Attachment 9: FORM-AH-0206 SUPPLIER DEVIATIONS
LIST) listing all the deviation for CONTRACTOR / COMPANY approval.
Any clarification (different from deviation) for requirements of this specification and relevant
company standard as listed in section 2 of this material requisition shall be issued separately
with the bid by a dedicated section (Refer Attachment 9: FORM-AH-0207 SUPPLIER
CLARIFICATION LIST) for Contractor approval.
8.4 COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
SUPPLIER shall submit a compliance statement to the technical questionnaire provided in

Attachment 9.

As per the special terms and conditions attached to Purchase Order.

10. SUPPLIER DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
10.1 LANGUAGE
All literature, documentation, correspondence, and other printed matter pertaining to this
Material Requisition shall be in English language.
10.2 NON-MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS (NMR)
Vendor shall refer to Appendix 4 of Technical Specifications of Corrosion Inhibitor Injection

Unit (20-C-D-10-SM-S-PK-06-106) and Attachment 6 for Non-Material Requirements for
their scope of supply.
