The book started out from the authors notes on selected Supreme Court decisions and jurisprudence when he first
conducted lectures as a professor of law and pre-bar reviewer. The book is intended for bar candidates, students of
law, and students of criminology. The growing demand for more copies constrained the author to have a regular
publication. It has been amended for several times with the inclusion of related laws and current jurisprudence. This
book is helpful to the law and criminology students in their quest to absorb the substance of the related laws in this
book.
