NOTES
1. Liquid and suction connection sizes may not be equal to a particular systems design line sizes.
2. Pumped liquid feed ammonia connection capacities are based on 3:1 overfeed.
3. Pumped liquid feed R-507 connection capacities are based on 2:1 overfeed.
4. Direct expansion feed liquid connection sizes are dependent upon distributor selection and require evaluation on a case-by-case basis.
5. Flooded feed suction connections can be sized to match suction stop valves, if located at the same level as the coil connection, or risers. The
suction connections in the table are sized to match suction stop valves. Connections sized to match risers will generally be smaller to ensure
that vapor will entrain liquid to surge drum.
6. For best results with flooded feed, customers should should advise factory of suction stop valve location, size, and type, when used
7. For best performance, the surge drum should be located close to and directly above flooded feed coil connections. The factory should be advised
of any special surge drum location requirements or restrictions.
9. Refer to customer submittal drawings for connection sizes of specific applications.
10. Liquid connection sizes in above tables are for a single connection. In some cases a particular coil may require more than one liquid connection.
