1. Overall Aims of Course
The aim of this course is to a broad overview of linear models. Students
will be able to understand the important of the linear models analysis,
distinguish between the linear models, differentiate between the estimation
methods, derive the properties of the estimators, evaluate the linear
hypothesis for the models, analyze some applications using the SPSS
Package, and solve the problems of unrealized the assumptions of the linear
models.

2. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)

a. Knowledge and Understanding
a1- Define the Model and the Parameters
a2- State the theory of estimation
a3- Select the suitable method of partitioning sum of squares.
a4- Define the foundations and concepts associated with the course

b. Intellectual Skills
By the end of the course the students should be able to
b1- Propose the special topics for the linear model
b2- Modify the method of estimation based on the assumptions of the model
b3- Propose the suitable method to solve the problem under study
