Professional Experience

Participated in Drawing Marathon at The New York Studio School Fall 2017
Created artwork under instruction of the artist Graham Nickson. Used drawing as a basis to understand experiences in the world
and to explore a direct connection to expressing perception. Experimented with unorthodox tools and exercises.

Illustrator of the University of Dayton Coloring Book Fall 2016- Spring 2017
Recommended by Chair of the Visual Arts Department to illustrate and design a UD coloring book, Color Me UD. Illustrated UD
campus sites, events, icons special to the university. Worked with bookstore manager and merchandise manager monthly to go
over revisions of illustrations. This book is currently published and sold on two on campus stores as well as online.

Learned new painting techniques and created artwork at Wild Flowers on Yupo Ein Plein Air, Painting Workshop in oils with
professional artist Jennifer Rosengarten.

Completed Illustration Internship at the University of Toledo Medical Center Summer 2016
Worked under instruction of Medical Illustrator, Roy Schneider, who assisted me in developing Photoshop knowledge and skills;
refining free-hand drawing fundamentals; and studying human anatomy. These instructions were then applied to create visuals of
human anatomy in both Photoshop and physical drawings.
