pavement or 40mm which ever is more and filling
the grooves with approved hot poured sealing
compound confirming to grade A or B of IS-1834,
consolidation, curing and treatment for the topwith
broom finish, etc; complete all as per
specifications, Mix ratio specified is for (cement:
graded fine aggregate: graded stone aggregate).

7.1 H01A Using 20mm nominal size agregate In CC 1:3:6.

8 A004 Providing and injecting Chemical emulsion for


PRE-CONSTRUCTIONAL Anti-termite
treatement and creating a chemical barrier on top
surface of plinth filling, junction of inside wall and
floor, on top of damp proof course(DPC) or on
masonry at the level of plinth filling as per IS
6313(part-II)-1981 using chemicals like
Chloropyripos emulsifiable (IS: 8944-1978) 20EC
mixed with water in the ratio 1:19 (i.e., 1 litre of
Chemical to 19 litres of water). The emulsion is
spread at 5 lit/sqm on top surface of plinth filling,
top of Damp proof course and at 1 lit/linear meter
along the junction of wall and floor, all as per
specifications and directions. (Plinth area of the
building at Ground floor only shall be measured)

9 D03 Providing and laying in position REINFORCED


CEMENT CONCRETE using graded hard granite
stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size obtained
from approved quarry including mechanical
mixing, vibrating, compaction, finishing, curing,
etc; complete all as per specifications but
excluding the cost of form works and steel
reinforcement. (Rate to include labour for keeping
embedments if any, wherever required while
casting). Mix ratio specified is for cement : graded
fine aggregate : graded stone aggregate up to 3.5m
level in beams, suspended floors, roofs having
slope upto 15 degree, landings, balconies, shelves,
chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills ,
staircases and spiral staircases etc., with

MASONRY walls/partitions in following mixes
using approved well burnt bricks of "CLASS
DESIGNATION" (Classification as per I.S. 1077-

Engineer -in- charge. In SUPERSTRUCTURE
UPTO 3.5m from ground level. (The mix ratio
specified is for cement : graded fine aggregate)

10.1 B06A Using bricks of "class designation 3.5"(Minimum

ceiling, etc; complete all as per specifications up to
3.5m height from finished floor level. Mix
specified is for cement : graded fine aggregate
NOTE: i) CM 1:3 OR CM 1:4 is generally
applicable for ceilings and RCC surfaces unless
otherwise specified.

13 K11 Plastering 15mm thick with cement mortar
specified below finished rough including
scaffolding, curing, etc; complete for EXTERNAL
SURFACES of walls, inclusive of sills, jambs,
soffits, etc; complete all as per specifications for
heights upto 3.5 mtr above GL. Mix specified is
for cement : graded fine aggregate. NOTE: i) CM
1:3 OR CM 1:4 is generally applicable for ceilings
and RCC surfaces unless otherwise specified.

17 K63 Painting external plastered surfaces with two or
more coats of 100% acrylic exterior emulsion
paint of approved make and colour (weather coat
of Berger or Apex of Asian or equivalent) having
protection against fungal growth, flaking, fading,
alkali and UV degradation and to give an even
shade with required finish over a coat of cement
primer of approved brand including cleaning the
surfaces, filling the crevices with approved filler,
scaffolding, curing, etc., complete all as per
specifications.

18 K24 Painting plastered surfaces with TWO or more


coats of ACRYLIC WASHABLE DISTEMPER of
I quality and approved colour to give an even
shade over a coat of Water thinnable cement
primer/ oil based Cement primer including
cleaning the surfaces, filling the crevices with
approved filler,applying a coat of approved putty
on whole surface and rubbing the surface to achive
desired smooth surface, scaffolding, etc; complete
all as per specifications.up to 3.5m height from
finished floor level. (Rate to include cost of
primer,putty also).

19 K67 Extra for External/Internal painting in Highbay


areas; for every 3.5m above the initial height of
3.5m or part thereof (Where floor or solid support
is not available at normal lift heights) - 5% of the
rates of the respective painting items

20 J25 Providing and laying water proofing treatment
over RCC roof in 3 courses, as specified below at
all heights, after thoroughly cleaning surface of the
roof slab with wire brush, cleaning of dust and
foreign matters, raking and cleaning of
construction joints if any etc., complete to make
the surface suitable for receiving water proofing
treatment.

I COURSE : The existing covering on slab to be


removed and the surface of the RCC slab exposed.
Construction joints if any are to be raked and
cleaned. A coat of cement slurry at the rate of
4.4kg/sqm mixed with acrylic water proofing
compound (as per manufacturers specification) is
spreaduniformly over the RCC roof area and
ensuring that the slurry penetrates into the RCC
slab below and fills all micro cracks and all other
porous areas. Over this a layer of 15mm thick
cement mortar 1:5, mixed with acrylic water
proofing compound as per manufacturers
specifications shall be laid to place the II course.

IICOURSE : A sinle layer of brick on edge with
15mm wide gaps filled with CM 1:5 mixed with
acrylic water compound is laid (i.e., bricks placed
vertically on its 75x115mm side or 75x230mm
side as the case may be, to suit the required
thickness of course), when the bottom layer (I
course) is still green and laid to slope of 1 in 60 as
per roof drainage scheme using approved well
burnt bricks (waer absorption not more than 20%)
with minimum thickness of 65mm at outer edge
including the top and bottom plastering (I & III
course) to get required gradient, laying the bricks
with not less than 15mm gap alround, which shall
be properly filled completely and compacted with
CM 1:5 mixed with acrylic water proofing
compound as per manufacturersspecification using
full bricks or bricks cut to required size to lay the
course with single layer with gradient said above
for adequate drainage.

III COURSE : 20mm thick cement motar 1:4


mixed with acrylic water proofing compound with
a layer of chicken mesh 12mmx26G and marked
with 300mmx300mm false squares including
curing etc., for not less than 7 days, complete all as
per specifications and directions of Engineer in
charge. The 20mm thick layershall be carried out
in two layers of 10mm thick with an inter layerof
chicken mesh of 12mmx26G laid in between the
two layers of cement mortar. NOTE : The acrylic
water proofing compound to be used shall be; a)
CHEMSEAL - manufactured by M/s. Overseas
Water Proofing Corporation, Mumbai.

The proportion of CHEMSEAL shall be 2% by
weight of cement. OR CONPLAST X 421 IC -
integral water proofing compound manufactured
by M/s. FOSROC Chemicals(India) Ltd.,
Bangalore. The proportion of CONPLAST X 421
IC shall be 130ml per 50 kg of cement. OR
ROFFE HYPROOF manufactured by M/s.
ROFFE Construction Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., liquid
integral water proofing compound at 140ml per
50kg of cement OR Equivalent. b) The second
course of the treatment shall be laid in single
course using full bricks / cut bricks as may be
required for laying the course in 1 in 60 slope.

c) The rate to include all labour, material and


contingent coats for execution of work in a
workman like manner including curing, etc.,
complete for respective courses. d) The plane
horizontal measurements of roof slab only shall be
measured for payment. e) The theoretical cement
consumption required for the above work will be
worked out based on co-efficient for each layer of
work as per specification. f) The work shall b got
executed through specilised water proofing
agency. g) The contractor should finish a
guarantee bond in the prescribed format for
satisfactory water proofing performance for 10
years.

21 H12 Providing and laying Ceramic tile
flooring/dadoing of approved quality, size, colour
and thickness according to the dimensions of tiles
and having scratch hardness and other parameter
conforming to IS 15622 (Bell or Navin or spartek
or Jhonson or kajaria or somany or equivalent
make) laid over a bed/backing as specified below,

with cement slurry at 3.30kg/sqm, close jointed


and pointed with matching white cement slurry
mixed with approved pigmement and finishing to
required level, curing etc., complete all as per
specification and as directed by Engineer In charge
at all floors.

H12A In flooring with approved colour floor tiles


( Regular / plain or dark colour/ glossy or mat
series) size 300mm X 300mm as per IS 15622
over bed/backing of 20mm thick in CM 1:4.
