EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Yum Yum Pastries (YYP) is a company in Regino Mercado Night High


School, serving both students and teachers with delicious snacks. Established in
August 2017, the business is operating through selling delicious and affordable
snacks.

Yum Yum Pastries sells products such as puto cheese, cupcakes and
toasted pastries. With the opening of the business, we will be able to offer a
variety of pastries every day.

Yum Yum Pastries who helps on another to satisfy customer service and
greeting everyone with a smile. With such immense experience and connections,
Yum Yum Pastries is sure to gain traction in the community.

The business was started by a groups' funds. It plans to fund the business
to successfully run through .The funds are mainly required to open the existing
business. The initial growth of the company from the time of opening last August
is positive. The company has seen a lot of customers as well as many snacks
opportunities.

PRODUCT AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION

2.1 Service

Yum Yum Pastries is a start-up business that was launched last August 2017 at
Regino Mercado Night High School. This business will serve a community of both
students and teachers from the surrounding businesses.

The company is a traditional sub contracting business in which the company


sells a variety of pastries such as: puto cheese, toasted pastry and brownies,
sized to customer requirements and satisfaction. All our products are prepared
fresh everyday with locally grown ingredients.

The company is registered as a general partnership with five entrepreneurs who


will be jointly and severally liable for the debts of the company with their entire
property.

Mission Statement
To provide our customers a pastries with a modern twist to satisfy the taste buds
of the previous, current and the future generations with a dash of excellence, a
pinch of quality and a scoop of creativity by a team of passionate individuals.

Vision Statement
To be the best friendly neighborhood company with a vision to become the
reference for best re-seller of pastries around which our neighbors gather to
celebrate all their lifetime events or just in the mood to have a sweet treat.

Objectives
1. To establish a sustainable business.
2. To develop a strong identity in the market to support sales goals.
2.2 Product
Our company will be dealing in the sub contracting selling of 3 kinds of pastries
the: Brownies, Cupcakes and Toasted Pastries.

Competition in the local area is somewhat sparse and does not provide nearly
the level of product quality and customer service as YYP. Customers are looking
for a high quality product. They desire a unique, classy experience.

Our marketing needs to be aggressive compared to competitors. Social media


evens out marketing reach between competitors.

3.2 Advertising

Regino Mercado Night High School community is known for supporting local
businesses. Therefore, Yum Yum Pastries focuses on using local ingredients
whenever possible to encourage this localization. We are trained in a customer
focused manner and to be very knowledgeable of our entire selection of goods
and services.
3.2.1 Promotion

To achieve our goals, we need to first get our market knowing about us. This is
why word of mouth is our primary strategy. To achieve this, we will focus on the
following:

Word of mouth campaign through distribution of flyers in neighborhood,


coupon in the local newspaper
Advertise promotion with the use of Social networking sites.

3.3 Customer Profile

List of targeted customers for Yum Yum Pastries:

2. Students

These are mainly customers who are positively be the regular customers. They
are both Men and Women between ages 1350 and who have an income range
approximately between 50-200.00 daily for teachers and a range of
approximately 10 - 100.00 per day for the students.

For the supplies needed it will be bought at different stores at very reasonable
prices, list of stores are as follows:

4.2 Location
Yum Yum Pastries is currently located in Regino Mercado Night High School,
very close to establishments and businesses. This serves as one of the best
location for a business as it attracts a lot of students and teachers as well as
employees from companies around. The business is strategically located,
bringing in a lot of people who visit hospitals or attend events at the nearby
gymnasium.

The business is owned and managed by five entrepreneurs and who had
previous experience in the Food Industry by their previous grade level.

There is no regulations been adopted since this business are starting up, but if
we can see a progress regulations will be implemented.

There is no insurance coverage does our company have since the business are
starting up, but if we can see a progress insurance coverage will be taking up
sooner.

5.1 Management Overview

Yum Yum Pastries will hire an employee to assist with the business and will
require daily supervision after it has been established since all three products are
fairly easy to make.

At present time, there are 5 entrepreneurs who manage the business who firmly
committed to the Yum Yum Pastries concept.

5.3 Management Team

Daniel Nacorda is the co-owner and CEO of Yum Yum Pastries. Who will
be creating, communicating and implementing the organization's vision,
mission, and overall direction. Leading the development and
implementation of the overall organization's strategy. Soliciting advice and
guidance, when appropriate, from other officers. Overseeing the complete
operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in
the strategic plans and demonstrates the leadership necessary to make the
organization's mission a success. This leadership includes
providing leadership vision, leadership that attracts followers, and all other
aspects of successful leadership.

Joathan Malinao, co owner and serve as an Executive Secretary of Yum


Yum Pastries and have a responsibilities of maintains the smooth running
of an office through a variety of administrative and clerical duties and
organize files of the company.

Neil Matthew Quirante is the co-owner and serves as a Finance Manager


of Yum Yum Pastries. Who will be reviewing financial reports,
monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial
forecasts. Investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyze
markets for business opportunities, such as exp ansion, mergers or
acquisitions.

Arnel Monsalud is the co-owner and serve as the Marketing Manager of


Yum Yum Pastries, and had a duties of managing all marketing activities
within the marketing department, develop the marketing strategy for the
company in line with company objectives and analyze the potential
strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

Vinom Cube Papas, a co owner and stand as the Advertising Officer of


Yum Yum Pastries that oversees the advertising activity of a business,
forming and directing the business' strategy for advertising, implementing
advertising campaigns as well as evaluate the campaign's overall
performance following its conclusion.
5.4 Management Team Gaps

The management team will have to partially rely upon outside suppliers for both
marketing and accounting functions.

The management team is still in the early stages of formation. Entrepreneurs are
helping each other to face the business conflicts and problems.
