distance from the centre of the Earth with the same force, then their masses are equal.

Question 13:How is gravitational force of attraction between two bodies affected if

(i) Mass of both bodies is doubled

(ii) Distance between them is halved.

Question 14: Distinguish between mass and weight

Question 15:What is the difference between G and g?

Question 16:The Earth attracts the moon. Does the moon attract the Earth? If it does, why
does the Earth not move towards the moon? (3 marks)

calculate (1.5 + 1.5 marks)
