Project Title: CATALYTIC REDUCTION OF CARBON DI OXIDE IN A
DIESEL OPERATED GENSET
Our aim to develop a low cost CO2 emissions reduction system in the diesel engine,
exhaust gas. CO2, one of major green house gas which cause global warming. Diesel
engine was major source of CO2, now days emission legislations are stricter.
We are developing CO2 emission reduction system using naturally available charcoal
as an absorber which is physically activated by heating and chemically activated by NaCl.
This can absorb CO2 form exhaust gas. Our method helps to reduce 36.33% of CO2 from
an exhaust gas in various load condition.
