HY Architects Oakland, CA. Project Manager July 2009 – Present


Managed studio production and assisted the design of various K-12 school projects from conceptual design to DSA
approval and Construction Administration.
Prepared design development and presentation documents and construction specifications. Oversaw lower level drafters and designers as
required. Ensured budget and quality control. Projects were modernization of existing campuses ($2 mill - $ 4.5 mill.)
Clients: Oakland USD, Mill Valley SD.

Carrasco & Associates Architects Palo Alto, CA. Project Manager 2007 – March 2009
Managed studio production and assisted the design of various residential, multifamily and commercial projects from conceptual design to
City Planning and Building approval. Oversaw lower level drafters and designers as required. Ensured budget and quality control. Managed
coordination and internal scheduling of consultants in the project team. Prepared hand sketches, working drawings, design presentations
and presentation packages using 2D/3D CAD. Coordinate with and assisted the firm to obtain approvals from clients and regulatory
agencies. Managed the process for a LEED silver bldg.
Projects ranged from single family residences (up to $2 mill.) to new commercial and multifamily projects ($24 – 42 mill.)
Managed staff in our India satellite office. Helped in the redesign of our office web site and the local AIA chapter newsletter.
