Background of the Study

A gadget is a tool such as a machine that has a particular function, but is often of as a novelty.

Gadgets are sometimes referred to a gizmos. In the software industry, Gadget refers to

computer programs that provide services without needing an independent application to be

launched for each one, but instead run in an environment that manages multiple gadgets.

There are several implementations based in existing software development techniques, like

JavaScript, form input and various images format.

In todays fast paced world, technology/gadgets plays a major role in our day to day life,

done wonders to make our lives easy but, have we ever thought what impact it can have to

the world have made smaller because of this new era so called Millennial Period. By now, we

are all aware that gadgets have had a tremendous impact on our culture, in business, on the

world-at-large. Social media websites are some of the most popular haunts on the Internet. They

have revolutionized the way people communicate and socialize on the Web.

Gadgets can have a different types of application for its different purposes such as

Candy crush, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and etc., Users can stay abreast of the latest global

and local developments and participate in campaigns or activities of their own will.

Unfortunately, there are a few downsides of using gadgets especially to those users who gets

obsessed of using it. Many introverts and socially reclusive users place too much emphasize

on virtual interaction, and ignores the real world outside. Therefore, the information above

discuss about the gadgets into interactions has the ability to increase and decrease ITMAWD

Aarsand (2007) outlines how new media technologies have the ability to equip a powerful form

of media literacy as well as providing children with new opportunities for creativity, for

opportunity and for self-fulfilment. New media technologies therefore have encouraging
potential especially with regard to learning and as an educational medium. Digital technologies

can be used to the advantage of family or friends by using it as a space where generations meet

and do something together.

In todays society when our family, friends, and classmates scattered some of times, the

advance of technology has made very convenient to stay in touch and even see each other via

video conference by using apps like skype, gtalk etc.

Non-verbal interactions like eye contact, expressions, touch etc. are very crucial forms of

social interactions that are innate in humans but slowly these are slipping away from our lives.

Humans are social animals and social interactions plays a key role in our society. Unfortunately,

it is decreasing day by day. Root cause being more dependency on the web and modern

communication gadgets.
