Teaching Fellow- Generation Teach, Denver, CO Summer 2017


Went through training on diversity and classroom management for two weeks. For the remaining five weeks, taught three math
periods a day to incoming 7th graders, most who were from low-income families in Denver. Focused on ratios and rates. Also
taught a volleyball class as an elective three times a week.

Head Coach and Swim Lesson Instructor- Splash Pools Inc. May 2016-Present

Served as a head coach of summer swim team in Fort Collins neighborhood for more than 50 swimmers, ages 5-18. Taught swim
lessons to children ages 6 months to 10 years. Children learned water safety and improved stroke technique.

Assistant Manager- Bagel Place at CSU August 2014-December 2016

Trained student employees on customer service and food health and safety procedures. Supervised staff on floor and made bagels.
Ordered products from vendors using Yellow Dog and Microsoft Office.

Provided aquatic therapy to children with special needs once a week.

Spanish and English while helping him finish his homework.
