Performance notes.
1)The Bass Drum must preferably be a foot one and not an orchestral one for practical and stylistic reasons.
2)The top two lines of the four line sta of the second percussionist are bongos and the two bottom ones are medium
toms
3)The top two lines of the four line staf of th third percussionist are congas and the two bottom ones are large toms
4)The last ve bars, as they repeat all players have to play as quick and loud as they can. They dont have to be together
but they have to end togetner.
5)From gure H to the end the fourth percussionist should encourage the audience to clap to the beat.
