Cannabis is the third most popular recreational drug in Canada (behind only alcohol

and tobacco), and has been used in the past year, according to statistics, by
nearly 10.2% of the Canadian population (~ 4.000.000 citizens). Alcohol by far tops
the list with an estimated 78.4% of Canadians in the most recent year data is
available for, and tobacco use has dropped to ~16.5% overall, with daily smokers
making up 75% of that figure.

While public perception and acceptance of cannabis as a viable therapeutic agent as

well as an essentially safe recreational product, smoking cannabis can never be an
excuse for misconduct or other improper behavior. The Leafy Cauldron Apothecary and
the PUFFScoin team strongly support and endorse the Principles of Responsible Use
which we encourage all of our clients to adopt as a personal policy.

PUFFScoin PRINCIPLES OF RESPONSIBLE USE

I. ADULTS ONLY

Cannabis consumption is for adults only. It is not only immoral and completely
lacking in responsibility to provide cannabis to children, the Nova Scotia
government has determined that the minimum age for access to cannabis shall be the
same as that for access to tobacco and alcohol: 19 years. The Leafy Cauldron
Apothecary will strictly enforce substantial identity verification, prescription
authentication and one-on-one consultation with every client proposing to interact
with the Apothecary for cannabis.

A caveat: this provision does not apply to the physician supervised and recommended
use of medical cannabis by patients of any age.

II. DRIVING STONED IS DRIVING IMPAIRED

Do not operate a motor vehicle or any other dangerous machinery while you are
impaired by cannabis, similarily to the common sense you might employ avoiding
driving when impaired by any other substance or conditions, such as alcohol intake,
some medications or fatigue.

Although cannabis is recognized by many experts to be more safe than alcohol and
many prescription drugs for motorists, responsible cannabis consumers should never
operate motor vehicles in an impaired condition. Public safety demands not only
that any impaired driver be taken off the road, but that objective measures of
impairment be developed and used, rather than simple chemical testing.

III. SET & SETTING

Carefully consider your "set and setting" when consuming cannabis, regulating use
accordingly. "Set" refers to the your unique values, attitudes, experience and
personality, and "setting" is your current physical and social circumstances.

Understand that there is a time and a place for everything, including the use and
enjoyment of cannabis, but that certain circumstances are inappropriate, either for
cultural and social reasons or due to the user's tolerance and likelihood of
impairment. The responsible cannabis consumer does not hesitate to say "no" when
conditions are not conducive to a safe, pleasant or productive experience.

IV. MODERATION

Use of cannabis, to the extent that it impairs one's health, personal development
or life goal achievements, is abuse, to be resisted by responsible cannabis users.
Some cannabis use is harmful; most is not. Know your limits and puff within it.
V. RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE

Do not violate the rights of others, observe accepted standards of courtesy and
public propriety, and respect the preferences of those who wish to avoid cannabis
entirely. Hell, go ABOVE AND BEYOND and strive to those standards in every aspect
of life.

Substance use never excuses any such violating the rights of another person. We all
hate that boorish asshole that picks a fight in the bar. Dont be a boorish asshole.
Regardless of the legal status of cannabis, be responsible and considerate and
adhere to local tobacco smoking protocols in public and private places.
