DESIGN BASIS REPORT

1.0 Design Basis Report (DBR)?

-Design Basis report (DBR) is the preliminary document which is to be prepared intially in every
project.
-DBR is the Set of conditions, needs, and requirements taken into account in designing a project.
-DBR is the document which contains all the engineering information about the
structure/project.
2.0 Requirement of DBR?

- As noted in first point DBR contains all the engineering information about the structure/project
so everyone who is involved with project will have all the engineering information about
project/structure.
- Team members who all are involved in project will have the handy information related to
project and without any delay. they can start work with clear considerations.

3.0 Preparation of DBR

- DBR should contain information related to all the points mentioned in Appendix - A.
- It should be well formated and should be with clear informations.
- All the participants should submit the DBR on/before 16/08/2016 as per the format shown in
Appendix - A.
