Founders

Mr Gaurav Gandhi - Director at Essgee Group - a diversified business group with primary
interest in real estate development in India. The projects are currently in Mumbai and Jodhpur. The
flagship project, Umaid Heritage, is spread over 130 acres of land and has won over 5 national
awards for the project. The group has also diversified in renewable energy, mining and shared office
spaces. A commerce graduate with a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University, Mr
Gandhi has accumulated a wealth of experience by working in various roles at Citibank N.A and
HDFC Real Estate Fund. He was part of a team managing over $1 billion in assets.

CA Anuj Golecha - An active angel investor, co-founder of Indias first seed investment &
innovation platform for startups and pioneers the next level of start-up evolution. Partner at Banshi
Jain & Associates provides who services to over 1200 corporate and non-corporate clients across 25
industries, Chartered Accountant by qualification with fine leadership quality and entrepreneurial spirit.
Anuj Golecha is a seasoned professional with invaluable cross industry experience. He has been
actively involved in building businesses such as real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and
gold & diamond jewellery around the world into multi-million dollar enterprises. He has channelled this
experience to establish Samyakth as a one-stop financial solutions provider.

Mr Rishabh Golchha - An MBA Tech (MBA + B Tech.) from NMIMS, Mumbai. Since then, he
has been handling the real estate arm of his family business in Chhattisgarh, where Wallfort Group is
amongst the leading developers of the state. A sports person and a skiing enthusiast, he has early
experience of angel investing, and has been actively involved in the growth and expansion of Venture
Catalysts.

Investment Strategy

We invest & partner with businesses those build product &/or services for large untapped market &
have potential to generate steady cash flow returns to the investors; We look for early sign of
product-market fit. The business should have attained significant traction; as we offer capital
primarily for working capital needs, for buying assets &/or for expansion across local & global
markets. We believe technology & internet is an enabler and it cannot be the core of the value
proposition, we prefer businesses that create substantial material value for customers than just a
virtual experience. Our philosophy is to invest in early & growth stage companies that have
monopolistic behaviour or ability to become category leader. Hence, the founders and management
team has to have the domain understanding accumulated either by on-ground work experience or by
large amount of industry exposure due to academic reasons. We prefer not to offer seed or growth
equity capital that gets deployed in building / R&D of product or services that may or may not
generate substantial revenues in future. Also, we avoid investments in real estate, fixed income
instruments offered by banks, mutual funds, private & govt. bonds, capital markets / stock markets,
and lastly family run Businesses.
