There are several careers you can do with an architecture degree. Such as landscaping architects who
design outdoors, including infrastructure, and take care of both public areas and rural spaces.
Industrial designers, which focus on smaller scale objects of mass production. Graphic designers, whom
take in the world and identify it. Production designers, which lift the pressure off traditional design and
expression. Extreme architects, whom develop climate changes, and extreme weather conditions such as
floods. Furniture designers, whom can be seen as architecture's little sister, but countless famous
architects have made significant contributions.
Education Requirements
Graduates out of high school who want to pursue a career in architecture need a bachelors degree,
which normally takes around 5 years to accomplish. Other fields are architectural studies or construction
management. Architects who already have bachelors degree in another field, such as architectural
studies or construction management, can apply to a Master of Architecture program.
Professional Organizations
Throughout areas in the world there are several professional organizations for architecture. American
Architectural Foundation, the American Association of Architectural Students, and the American Institute
of Architects, etc. The American Architectural Foundation is a non-profit educational organization
dedicated to cultivating the publics understanding of architecture. Other organizations, like The
American Institute of Architects, are online services with dates on events and projects listed on their
websites. It is made for strictly architects.
