to arose SS interest upon different animals by means of a song;
to use names of baby animals;
to understand the rules of forming the regular plural of nouns;
to use properly the plural of nouns;
to recognize some animals after sounds and parts of the body;

Objective: to arose SS interest upon different animals by means of a song;
Context: the outside world;
Activity: T will play the song on the speakers;
Class organization: lockstep;
Aids: mp3 player, speakers;
Possible problems: some of the SS may have not learnt the song.

Activity 2 estimated time 12


Objective: to use names of baby animals;
Context: the outside world;
Activity: T will ask the SS if they know the some baby animals; they should remember
words like kitten or puppy; SS will receive handouts with names of baby animals and
they are supposed to write them into their notebooks; then, SS will receive another
handouts with mazes and they will complete them in pairs;
Class organization: pairwork;
Aids: handouts;
Possible problems: some of the SS may not understand what they have to do, so the T
will walk through the class to give further explanations;

Activity 3 estimated time 10


Objective: to understand the rules of forming the regular plural of nouns;
Context: the SS world and the outside world;
Activity: T will write on the blackboard some names of animals and their plural form and
will encourage SS to do the same with the words from their first handout; T will give the
irregular plural of sheep and calf;
Class organization: lockstep;
Aids: handouts, blackboard;
Possible problems: some of the SS may not understand what they suppose to do, so the T
will walk through the class and explain, if necessary;

Objective: to use properly the plural of nouns;
Context: the SS world;
Activity: T will write on the blackboard two sentences from the exercise 3, page 64 in the
textbook; T will emphasize the differences between singular and plural; SS will continue
the exercises in their notebooks;

Aids: blackboard, textbook;
Possible problems: some of the SS may not understand, so T will repeat and mime;

Objective: to recognize some animals after sounds and parts of the body;
Context: the outside world and the SS world;
Activity: SS will be asked to say the names of the animals from exercise 5, page 67; after
that, they will receive some handouts and T will play some sound of animals and SS will
have to paint only the animals they are going to hear

Aids: handouts, textbook;
Possible problems: none;

SS will have to write five sentences using the plural of baby animal names, after the
model: Baby elephants are calves.
