Sir:

We would like to request an approval for our final project design proposal in the
course MexE 404. It was entitled Hydraulic Press Wood Splitter. The splitter could cut
and split logs with ease. It takes up round timber pieces up to 50 cm. The splitter can
exert 55 tons of pressure. Up to 18 logs could be produced in one splitting stroke. The
machine can split up to 29 different kinds of woods. Examples are beech, ash, oak, maple,
mahogany, etc. The splitter could split logs up to a length of 250 cm. Vertical or
horizontal splitting is optional.
