Trigger : Create a SKF group- To look at similar SKF as a group.

Business Process Description Overview


Creation of a SKF group : SKF can be grouped in any levels like Cost center group according to our
requirements. This is done to Control & analyse costs as a group. This can also be used intelligently to get
summation levels for various reporting.

Input-Required Fields Field Value /Comments


SKF group Name of the SKF group.
Description Description of the SKF group
New node Name of the SKF Sub group.
Description Description of the SKF sub node.
Insert new node same level icon Icon to insert new node at the same level
Insert new node lower level icon Icon to insert new node at the lower level

Output – Results Comments


You will get the message: Group changed/created.

Tips and Tricks:


Creation of all groups-Cost Element Group, Cost center Group, Internal order group, SKF group etc. are all
similar.

1.1 Access transaction by :

Via Menus Accounting Controlling  Cost Centers

Via Transaction Code KBH1

1.2. On the “Create Statistical key figure group : Initial Screen “, enter information in the fields as specified in
the below table:

Reference SKF group O Enter one existing SKF group if you want to copy.
Controlling area O Enter the Controlling area of the reference SKF
Group.

1.3. Press Enter or Execute or F6 to advance to the next screen.

1.4. . On the “Create SKF group : Structure screen “, enter information in the fields as specified in
the below table :

Insert Gr. Icon R You can add any sub groups under this group. For
that click on ‘insert SKF group same level’/ ’lower
level’ icons

1.5. Save the document by pressing Ctrl+S or click Save icon.

Trigger : When you want to change any field in a SKF group.

Business Process Description Overview


Changing SKF group: SKF can be grouped in any levels like cost center group according to our
requirements. This is done to Control & analyse costs as a group. This can also be used intelligently to get
summation levels for various reporting. We can regroup , delete or maintain values of SKF group by this
function.

SKF group Name of the SKF group.
Insert group at same level/lower-
level icon To insert new group in the same level/lower level.
New node & description Name & description of the new node to be inserted
Select icon To select one group
Delete selection push button To delete selection after selecting
Delete/Remove icon To delete a group

Insert SKFs icon To enter SKFs which belong to the sub- group.

You will get the Message – Cost Element has been Read the message to ensure the completeness.

1.1 Access transaction by :

1.2. On the “Change SKF group: Initial Screen “, enter information in the fields as specified in
the below table :

change.

1.3. Press Enter, F8 or execute to advance to the next screen.

1.4 On the “Change SKF group: Structure“ screen , enter information in the fields as specified in

Insert group at- New group can be inserted at any level other than the
same nodes under which cost centers are attached. For this
level/lower- level R select the required option.

New node R In this field, enter the name of the new node.
Description R Enter the description.

Select icon R To delete a group, you have to first select the group
by clicking on the group and click the Select icon or
F9. Then click delete/Remove icon.
To Rearrange a group, click on the group and click
Select icon. Then click on the node to which you want
to attach the selected group, and click insert at same
level/lower level icon. Click enter to confirm changes.

Insert SKFs. R Here, all SKFs are attached to their respective groups.
Click on the lowest node of the group and click Insert
SKF icon.. Then, click enter to confirm changes.

1.5 Save the document by pressing Save icon or press Ctrl+S . You will get the message :Group changed/created.
