    INTRODUCTION TO DBMS
    DATA PROCESSING: The activity of processing data using a computer is called Data Processing or Electronic Data
    Processing. The ultimate goal of data processing is to transform data into information.
    DATA: A collection of unorganized facts, figures or concepts associated with a particular entity that does not
    convey any meaning. Data can contain characters, numbers, symbols, pictures, audio, video and documents
    also. Ex: Employee Name, Product Name, Phone Number, Weight, Age, Marks obtained etc.
    INFORMATION: The data that has been converted into more useful and intelligible form is known as
    information. Ex: Report Card Sheet,
