ABSTRACT
We usually come across areas where an admin or department or company head needs to monitor user
work. This monitoring helps the authority to know about any unusual activity or any activity not
supposed to be done in office premises which is done by the employee. The interface of admin
dashboard is developed in android so that to monitor the work of employee more easily and effectively.
Remote pc monitoring needs a working internet connection that too having a high bandwidth. Well such
system when monitoring on a large number of PC’s proves to have a quite reasonable load on the
network.
Since the system works by sending Constant image snapshots of computer screen to intended authority
these constant image transfers from a number of computers proves to be quite an unethical practice.
So we propose an On Demand Android System that monitors a Pc on authority demand.
1. INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, PC’s, Laptop’s and all other electronic gadgets are inseparable part of our everyday life.
Personal computers are not any longer meant for working purpose, but more and more used for
entertainment in people’s spare time. This is also applicable to the mobile phones, which have
transformed into multifunctional devices with almost same features as computer’s have. Smartphone’s
are common and commercially used device all over the world, user-friendly interface and lots of features
such as Wi-Fi, Internet access, Bluetooth, Camera, Video recording etc. add-on to the Android
smartphone to be popular all over the world with cheap cost. We propose application which is
compatible and useful in both the areas, the aim is to utilize provided hardware features from
smartphone devices along with various useful libraries from Android API. As a result, an application
combining different monitoring devices is created. The connection of a smartphone with the Laptop is
established wirelessly via Wi-Fi, for desktop an external modem is used to have a Wi-Fi connection.
One of the most widely used mobile OS these days is Android. Android comprise not only operating
system but also middleware and key applications. Android Inc. was founded by Andy Rubin, Rich
Miner, Nick Sears and Chris White at Palo Alto of California, U.S. in2003.Later Android Inc. was
acquired by Google in2005. After original release there have been number of updates in original version
of Android.

5. APPLICATION DOMAIN
This project traverse a lot of area ranging from connectivity concept to computing field, and required to
perform several researches to be able to achieve the project objectives. The area covers include:
 Android & JAVA technology is used for the development of the application.
 Admin can easily use the application to monitor the employees from any location.
 Mobile application means that the system will be available for access 24/7 except when there is
connectivity issue which is minimal now-a-day.
 This application can help any organization to stop unauthorized activity from their resources.

6. EXPECTED OUTCOME
This application will provide assistance to the system administrator in monitoring the task. Due to wide
use of android devices, this system will be developed for tablets and other handheld devices. This
system will provide mobility for users for controlling their computer desktops over internet. More
facilities and features for accessing applications running on remote desktop from mobile handheld
devices will be provided. Thus the extended scope of this system will prove to be helpful in providing
mobility and accessing the remote desktop over the internet.
