TEN COUNTRIES REPRESENTED AT FOUR SEAS
BIBLE COLLEGE LECTURESHIP

Jesus – His Life And Teachings was the theme of the 10th Annual Four Seas
Bible Lectureship in Singapore. This Lectureship was hosted by Four Seas Bible
College, the Jurong church of Christ and the Lim Ah Pin church of Christ
November 22-25, 2017.
Regarding this year’s Lectureship, Peter Chin (President of Four Seas),
observed: “22 lessons on the theme of “Jesus – His Life & Teachings” were aptly
presented at this lectureship by speakers from the United States, Australia, the
Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. The American speakers are Billy Bland, Tim
Burroughs, Tim Hayes, Jonathan Burns, Jim and Janis Dearman, Leanna Coats and
Jennifer Gondos. Participants came from 10 nations that include India, Laos, Vietnam,
Indonesia, and China. Those who traveled here from Malaysia across the Causeway
(that separates Malaysia and Singapore) were from 7 different congregations. 350 of
the lectureship books printed were almost sold out during the 4-day lectureship. The
average attendance each day was 160. It was very well supported and attended. The
next lectureship is scheduled for Nov. 28th to Dec 1st (Wed – Sat) 2018. We invite you
to be with us. Perhaps the preacher in your congregation could be encouraged to
come.”

during the Lectureship (see photo bottom left).

creature. He that believeth
and is baptized shall be
saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned” (Mark
16:15–16).
 In addition to preaching in the Lectureship, Tim
Burroughs also preached in the Gospel Meeting at
Jurong on the topic “Why Are There So Many
Churches?”
During the Lectureship, it was my privilege to
preach on the topic “The Only Begotten of God.” I
also was honored to preach at Jurong on the topics
“Is The Bible True,” “Are Heaven and Hell Real,” and
“The Great Salvation.”

In addition to preaching in the Philippines, Jonathan Peter Chin, President of Four Seas Bible College
Burns also preached on Four Seas Lectureship on the preached “The Resurrection of Jesus.” He and his good
topic “The Word Became Flesh.” wife, Pooi Fun, do an excellent job in preparing for the
annual Lectureship.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in
heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt 28:18–20)

Pictured above are six students who just graduated from preached in the chapel service on “Jesus In
FSC. The ladies will go back to their home countries to teach Prophecy – Look For Him”. These men are well
other women and children. The men will return to teach and trained at FSC for the Lord’s work which they will
preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15-16, Mat. 28:18-20). do as they return to their home countries.
